The Padua 6 you are referring to is Michael Wood. At times he needs to channel his fire and aggression a little better. In saying that, this is what makes him the player he is. He made QLD 1 as a 16 year old last year so has already held his own against his 'likely GPS counterparts'.

Is anyone prepared to have a mid-season prediction of an AIC team?

A few more cricket scores this weekend. Ashgrove and Peters seem to be the most in form teams with Padua still winning but don't appear to be at their best. There hasn't been much talk about Peters. Can anyone make a comment on them? It looks like they are the real deal.

Were there any players that particularly shined throughout the championships?

There is strong mail to suggest rugby league will be brought in as an AIC Term 3 sport within the next couple of years (they will still play rugby union in Term 2). SEC, SPC and PAD already play in the Confraternity each year with ASH and the like signing up this year. I believe offering rugby...

Any reports on how the AIC boys are doing at Nationals?

Congratulations to the boys selected for QLD. 5 AIC reps is a good result. Hopefully even more next year. How Tom O'Toole didn't get a starting spot is beyond me. Let's hope he proves the QLD selectors foolish at Nationals. Let the rugby do the talking.

I'd like to know people's thoughts on how our AIC boys will go in the State Titles. Personally, I think there are at least 5 or 6 boys who will put their hand up for QLD selection.
