2015 IRB Junior Rugby World Cup - Italy

Bit hard to tell of these comments are all about the forwards, but if so, it's the backs who kick away possession, not the forwards.

2015 IRB Junior Rugby World Cup - Italy

Pretty sure I've seen it somewhere I this thread, but searched back and can't find it: what do the pools look like for next year now? Just heard that 4th place goes into the pool with 1st place (so NZ and SA together). Where do 2, 3, 5 and 6 placings go in the 2016 pools?

Is there nowhere it can be watched online - is it being filmed at all?

    Sydney Colts - 2015

MTB certainly has its share of defectors, but Penrith is much worse based on many of the posters in this forum. I don't mind players moving for reasons of friends or work or where they are living now, but moving to a club because you think you'll be part of a 'winning team' is a bit cynical for...

    Sydney Colts - 2015

If we want to start describing the colour of white, I think we're talking about a shade of grey then. Saying the vast majority is a bit different to saying all. I think your post actually backs up the point . You'd be struggling to name more than a handful of Woodies players from out of area...

Do you mean the "2016 World Rugby U20 Championship Thread"?! Is there one yet?

2015 IRB Junior Rugby World Cup - Italy

Agreed. Also agree with earlier posts that the backs didn't do much better than the piggies. Why do you think there were so many scrums - lost ball in the backs. Watching that game was a bit like watching an u18 touch footy team playing a Shute shield 1st grade team. We seemed that much...

    Sounds like as good a scape goat as any. . . . . . .

Hope the spoiler alert tactic in my post above above was sufficient protection for the working leisure class. Edit: fixed the above thanks to Mr Jarse :) Surely, however, those who don't want to know can stay off G&G and those who want to can discuss on this discussion forum??!

    The new Wallaby jersey

Looks like a soccer (yes, soccer) Jersey. And that's not good.

Obviously for the finals, not SA game!!

Ok, so, I didn't actually see Jones playing myself, but a mate told me they saw him playing in 1st grade for part of the televised match that weekend. They could have been mistaken.

Strange that a Queenslander is getting the call-up for an injury cover position.

. Those quotes seem to be from way back in a 2013 CHS schoolboy selection trial. Interesting.

2015 IRB Junior Rugby World Cup - Italy

What are the facilities, fields and conditions like over in Italy? The pitch looked in good condition the other night for Australia and Samoa, though it looked a bit on the warm side weather wise based on the sweat I could see. I know there are several locations, but are all games for each round...

Hugh, that's exactly my point. Don't look for an "aggressive bopper". Look for someone who can throw reliably. That's the hooker's key role. It can win and lose games. The rest is a bonus.
