I am sure that no Brumbies supporter expects George Smith to walk back into the Wallabies just on reputation. Competition for the Wallaby's 7 shirt is torrid anyway. But if he deserves it, why preclude him from selection.

Before they play the Brumbies the Tahs will play the Rebels in Sydney - I'd say they are favourite for the match & bonus point. That means that the Brums would be only one win ahead of them. The Australian derbies will be a mixed bag I suspect. Trips to SA and NZ will be decisive for the pretenders.

Hard to believe he's a game changer. The only winger game changer was Lomu - but that is only my opinion. I think a lot of Tahs suporters will be a little disappointed later in the season when they realise that to become contenders they need a lot more than Izzy out wide or FB.
