Wales vs Australia, 5 November 2016, (1:30am 6 November AEDT) @ Millenium Stadium

Plenty of players don't get on the field in EOYTs without midweek dirt-tracker games. Plenty of future debutantes get taken along for experience. But in this case I think you're right. Koroibete will get a chance off the bench at some point.

Folau won't defend at 13. He'll defend at the back to control opponents' tactical kicking.

EOYT 2016 - Possibles, probables and general banter

All the others? Lote Tuqiri, Mat Rogers and Wendell Sailor were all good Wallabies. At times, very good Wallabies. I daresay all would get a run today at their best. If Koroibete turns out to be a Jason Robinson (the closest mungo I can think of in his playing style) then we'll all be...

How does that work? Perenara can't advance until Phipps picks up the ball, and Phipps passed off the deck.

We're not a shit team. The current ABs are undoubtedly a great team. If it helps your personal sense of drama to call us 'shit' then go for it. But it's you that's shit. At least our players cave under immense pressure. If that doesn't fit in the prevailing atmosphere then so be it...

Pumas vs Wallabies - Sunday 9th October @ Twickenham

Mate, you're all over the shop. First you had a crack at the number of locking combinations we've played as being "mind games bullshit" while saying that "Even rotating three or four guys makes more sense than what TGC is doing". When told that we were in fact rotating four players (having...

Pumas vs Wallabies - Sunday 9th October @ Twickenham

What's wrong with that? We're rotating four players. The thing that prevents them from each playing the same number of minutes as locks from teams that aren't is arithmetic.

Pumas vs Wallabies - Sunday 9th October @ Twickenham

Ouch. 76-0 in Brisbane. Some of the England players never made if off the pitch. Bones and scraps of crinkly England shell-suit are still being unearthed to this day.

Pumas vs Wallabies - Sunday 9th October @ Twickenham

Injuries excepted, he has been rotating four guys. There is almost nothing between Simmons, Douglas, Coleman and Arnold. Six of the seven combinations have been combinations of those four players.

Bravely blaming the usual suspects isn't asking the hard questions, but a way of avoiding them. Everyone who would do things differently if they were the coach (which is usually most people, because they aren't professional rugby coaches, and thus basically have No Inkling) blames the coach. I...

Pumas vs Wallabies - Sunday 9th October @ Twickenham

He is, but Leroy Houston is playing for Bath and was added to the squad. I'm sure it's having a Super Rugby contract that determines eligibility, rather than having an ARU contract, since players without ARU contacts are sometimes selected.

Pumas vs Wallabies - Sunday 9th October @ Twickenham

Why not? He has a Super Rugby contract in the year of selection. Other players signed to play overseas next year are eligible.

    Rugby TV Ratings 2016

It used to be that fair-weather fans were those who wouldn't turn up at a game when things weren't going well. Now, it's people who can't be arsed to turn over from Netflix while a game us on.

    All-Time Crim 1st XV

Maybe Eric Rush is a more apt crim winger? Rush was sentenced to community service for careless driving causing death and injury, presumably due to his skills as a barrister. I doubt we'd get off with a slap on the wrist.

    Springboks v Wallabies - Sunday 2 October 1am AEST - Loftus Versfeld

Timani's hands have greatly improved since his Waratah days. Now he's actually quite good at passing the ball in and out of contact. I think where he falls short is that he hasn't learned how to make use of his momentum with the ball in hand, rather like Will Skelton hasn't. Timani hits hard at...

Seriously? None of them are good enough even to play as a rotation sub? A majority of this forum says the Pooper is done with. Who would you start at 8, if not one of those?

    Springboks v Wallabies - Sunday 2 October 1am AEST - Loftus Versfeld

Of course he's available. Selecting McMahon at 7 means selecting someone else to play 8. Selectors have that as their super power. :) Gill is overseas, but still eligible for the remainder of the current season. Of course Toulon would be reluctant to release him. But he's not needed. We could...
