2018 Super Rugby Final Cantabs vs Lions

Unfortunately the outcome would probably have been the same if the wallabies were the opposition tonight. On the bright side I saw a cracking no.10 score 8 tries in the local U9s today so we might be ok by 2030.

Super Rugby Week 17, 2018 - Rebels vs Waratahs - Friday 29 June

Mate I feel the same way. Turned off the Ireland game when Izzy got carded. Didn’t watch the reds or the tahs this week. Just can’t do it any more. Cards were rare once - and usually deserved. Not the lottery it is now. I’m interested enough to have a browse to see what the consensus was but...

Wallabies v Ireland, Saturday 16th June, 8.00pm, AAMI Park, Melbourne

Not sure I agree. With a mountain of possession they only managed 2 tries - one through the vacant wing spot when Koro was carded and a soft prop vs halfback close range drive. They threw everything at us across two games and scored one try when 15 on 15. We got penalised off the park, and...

Wallabies v Ireland, Saturday 16th June, 8.00pm, AAMI Park, Melbourne

I agree in the most part. But then their penalties were all in kicking range because of our crap kicking and our age old exit strategy of give away a penalty and go back for the kickoff. Then rinse and repeat.

Wallabies v Ireland, Saturday 16th June, 8.00pm, AAMI Park, Melbourne

I suspect that was a tactic they were told to do. Blame the coaching for that one. Beale has a longer boot by a fair margin.

Are you guys really arguing about which of the two shittier parts of our game was actually the shittiest? :)

Wallabies v Ireland, Saturday 16th June, 8.00pm, AAMI Park, Melbourne

Beale and DHP both have better boots than foley. I just can’t fathom why we don’t drop them into 1st receiver when we need to exit. As I said last week foleys kicking from hand is never going to change - it’s part of the package. We need a plan B. It’s not rocket science.

Wallabies v Ireland, Saturday 16th June, 8.00pm, AAMI Park, Melbourne

Last week was a glimmer of hope and a small step forward for Australian rugby. Tonight was two steps back. The yellow cards were correct according to laws of the game but was Koroibete’s tackle really worth a 13 point turnaround. And should a penalty try really be an automatic yellow when it...

Wallabies v Ireland, Saturday 16th June, 8.00pm, AAMI Park, Melbourne

It’s not that we lost to them. It’s that they nullified the on the ball work of the pooper and exposed our lack of physicality and aggression at the breakdown. And exposed the lack of a third jumper in our lineout. We didn’t see any of that game 1 against the Irish.

Wallabies v Ireland, Saturday 16th June, 8.00pm, AAMI Park, Melbourne

Last week was the best I've seen the pooper play. It's fallen short against the ABs and Eng more than it's worked. I really hope game 1 was the new norm but I fear Ireland will be much wiser in negating its strengths and exposing its deficiencies. Many have said our line out woes from game 1...

Australia v Ireland, Sat 9th June @ 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

Beale is a concern. His presence was vital last night. His combination with Foley was superb and he created several line breaks. Shoulder didn’t look good at the end.

Australia v Ireland, Sat 9th June @ 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

I’ve got little to add that hasn’t already been said. The same team needs to run out last week. Hard to relegate anyone after that performance. It was nice to see two teams compete at the scrum without cynical play to start the penalty lottery. I doubt there will be so few resets against Eng or...

How nice is it to see a rock solid wallaby scrum!!!

Penalty was against pocock not Hooper. Poor call

    Pocock unlucky there. Rubbish penalty.

    June Internationals not involving Australia

Nah - you just don’t notice the bad calls against the ABs as much because they are so dominant it rarely influences the outcome of a game. Whereas one bad call can cost the wallabies a win. They’re not good enough to take the ref out of the game.

    Round 16 - Reds vs Waratahs - Saturday 2 June - 7:45pm @ Suncorp

The mungo boys have got it down pat now - put someone in the way whist making a half arsed attempt to look like they’re going for the ball to block the attacking player. Makes a nice shield. The ABs have done it to Folau before. The reds made the mistake of trying to compete in the air which was...

    Super Rugby Rd 5, - Reds v Jaguares - 18/3 - 7.40am Buenos Aires

So they get to spend a few more hours relaxing in a lie flat bed watching movies and catching a few zzzz’s Life’s tough at the top. Just need to keep Ready out of the on board bar and they’ll be fine.
