    Bledisloe 2 - Saturday 25th August 2018 - Eden Park, Auckland

Good luck with that. I think they all live overseas

    Bledisloe 2 - Saturday 25th August 2018 - Eden Park, Auckland

Set pieces were good. Pocock was the best backrower on the field. We had some go forward in tight this week. Just got shredded in counter attack and awful defence. Schoolboy defensive misreads. Not good enough.

Nah - we are making them look better him they are.

    Bledisloe 2 - Saturday 25th August 2018 - Eden Park, Auckland

Reminds me of U8s where they all run along side the player too scared to tackle. Terrible skills. Just terrible

Surely you'd bring him on for koribete. DHP has been one of our best. WTF

    Bledisloe 2 - Saturday 25th August 2018 - Eden Park, Auckland

DHP showing the benefit of selecting players in position. Much better at FB than wing. If he keeps this up Cheiks has gotta think about swapping positions with Folau.

    Bledisloe 2 - Saturday 25th August 2018 - Eden Park, Auckland

Franks milked multiple penalties last week with collapses. Barnes is on to it. Funnily enough when he gets warned the scrum stays up. Good refereeing

    Bledisloe 2 - Saturday 25th August 2018 - Eden Park, Auckland

We didn’t really get dusted in the scrum - other than a single scrum when Ainsley was on we weren’t driven backward. The collapses were a lottery - I have a sneaking suspicion if the ABs had been on the receiving end of the penalties they would have miraculously stopped. I wouldn’t make any...

    Bledisloe 2 - Saturday 25th August 2018 - Eden Park, Auckland

It does make the selection at 2 and 6 critical though. Although the throwing was a large part of the line out problem having less targets does increase the pressure on the throw. If (when) Hoper and Pocock start we need to pick 3 jumping locks at 4,5 and 6, and TAF will need to warm the pines in...

For about as long as it’s not been working I guess. :)

    Bledisloe 2 - Saturday 25th August 2018 - Eden Park, Auckland

Fixed. Therein lies the difference. Those opposing playing both at once feel that the lack of balance in the back row and the impact on other facets of play eg the lineout outweighs the benefit of having both on the field. You obviously feel differently. I can see logic behind both arguments...

    Bledisloe 1 - Saturday 18 August 2018 - ANZ Stadium, Sydney

My comments were made with the limitations of the current squad in mind. He wouldn’t be my first choice but I’m not sure there’s a better solution on tour if we persist with the dwarf 7/8 combo.

    Bledisloe 1 - Saturday 18 August 2018 - ANZ Stadium, Sydney

We’re talking the Argies and South Africa here, not Georgia. They’re still quality sides. Great opportunity to give plan B a run, at the very least to see how the structure runs in case of an injury to Foley. If they’re rubbish, don’t try it against the ABs. If it looks good, give it a run in...

    Bledisloe 1 - Saturday 18 August 2018 - ANZ Stadium, Sydney

That’s a big call given we haven’t tried anyone else there for a very long time. Beale wasn’t great in 2015 but that was before his resurgence. The back line isn’t firing with Foley at 10 and his kicking remains a liability RWC is next year. We should at least try a plan B against the Argies or...

Muscle tear apparently. Not ligaments Out for game 2. Maybe back for game 3.

    Bledisloe 1 - Saturday 18 August 2018 - ANZ Stadium, Sydney

As I’ve said before then Wallabies are the France of Southern Hemisphere rugby. On their day they can beat the ABs and Ireland - ranked 1 and 2 in the world. On another day they can capitulate and degenerate into a shambles. We saw both in one game last night. Doesn’t mean we will next week...
