The glaring problem with that graph is that it isn't adjusted for the number of teams on in the competition. Coming 4th out of 12 teams isn't the same as coming 4th out of 18 teams, which is obviously more difficult. So the averages should be more like: 12 teams: 5.49/12 = 0.46 14 teams...

Cutting a team is only a very short term fix (until 2020), at a very big cost of essentially destroying rugby in a large area of Australia, and therefore sacrificing future revenue from that area. After the current broadcast deal, the subsequent one will no doubt be much lower value for the ARU...

A bit crazy having so many injuries after a bye week. Was hoping to have a few players back but looks like the opposite has happened. Will be interesting to see how the new guys go....but not feeling overly optimistic

It's a pity all of the franchises didn't sign the alliance agreements to streamline overhead costs, as I would think that would make a pretty big difference to the bottom lines. I assume NZ has a similar structure to this with their central contracting. ...and no one else is going to now after...

Skill level has been pretty impressive so far considering the conditions. A far cry from the Australian games in slightly damp & humid conditions so far this year.

Was pretty happy with my score of 201 for round 2, but just had to be going up against KOB, the only other team in the league to score higher!

Decided it wasn't worth it. Would have to trade in someone who wasn't going to play, who would be pretty useless next week so will force a trade.
