    England v Australia

Dane Haylett Petty. He's a natural fullback and had a really good 2014, although played much of it on the wing with Hayward playing at fullback. He'll be at fullback for the Force for all of 2015 though with Hayward gone. Safe under the high ball, a good long kicking boot, excellent defense and...

    Ireland v Australia

Why is everyone so keen to have Palu at 8 if/when he's fit again? McCalman has been great at 8 when he's been given the chance this year. Always gets through a mountain of work and puts in a very solid and dependable performance every week. Palu looks great against lesser opposition, but almost...

    France v Australia

Good looking team. I like the return of Horwill - he seems to be returning to some form of late and has increased his workrate. Could definitely be having more impact, but the signs are positive. Given this is our "easiest" game on tour, and the starting side is settled, I'd like to see a...

    Wallabies v Barbarians - 1/11/14 (Twickenham)

I guess that's where our opinions differ. Given what we're getting out of our locks at the moment, I'd prefer to be getting more abrasiveness and impact around the ground which Fardy or Jones at lock would do (with the benefit of an additional backrower). It's not like they wouldn't provide a...

    Wallabies v Barbarians - 1/11/14 (Twickenham)

Yeah, that's a reasonable point, but our locks this year bar Skelton have been given a good go in the rugby championship and have generally not been up to scratch. Skelton has been shown to not even be that effective in the NRC, so should be a year or two away from the gold jersey. So trying...

    Wallabies v Barbarians - 1/11/14 (Twickenham)

Disappointing and surprising to not see Godwin, Jones or Faulkner in the team given this is the only real game where we are likely to see much experimentation / blooding. I guess that means they'll just be tourists unless there are some injuries. Understandable regarding Godwin given Lilo's...

    Wallabies v All Blacks @ Suncorp - 18/10/14

I don't believe so. He's played the last couple of games for the Spirit (Force players generally only play the home games) and has been playing very well. I'm hoping he's in the squad

    Western Force 2015

Had a really good first half, making breaks, solid tackles and throwing some really good passes. Wasn't quite as impressive in the second half, but still solid, with some nice touches. All in all, looked damn good for a first game back. Still waiting for him to recapture his tackle busting...

Western Force V Reds 5th July

Hopefully the force should have Morahan and Cummins back this week, which will provide some much needed attacking power out wide. The team I'd like to see start is (maybe too many changes, but it was a really shocking performance last week) 1. Cowan 2. Charles 3. Longbottom 4. Steenkamp 5. MMM...

    Wallaby Watch 2014

Cowan's been very good all season, so good to see him there. I think Longbottom was much more deserving of training with the group than Ryan though, who's been pretty poor this year IMHO. Disappointing to not see Cottrell in the mix as well, but no doubt he'll be in the setup sooner rather...

    Stormers Vs Force, Rd 14

de Jongh and de Allende have been in very good form this year. It's going to be very tough for Burton & CTM to contain them in defense. Pretty excited to see how Burton goes though - from all reports he's quote a talent! We should have the edge in the forwards anyway.

    Wallaby Watch 2014

This is really the series that we need to be bringing in potential young prospects to test them at international level. Get a few games under their belt at this level against slightly lesser opposition in the frogs, and they won't be getting thrown in the deep end against NZ or SA or in the RWC...
