I think the bokke wearing armbands was petulant and childish, even if they did it as one. How does saying that a press release was misleading and pure spin prevent someone from thinking that? The system doesnt work, but taking your protests out onto the field is not the way to change it.

    Waratahs 2010

I really doubt Holmes will be starting at 12. Dont think he has the defensive capabilities to be a regular starter there but having him on the bench means the Tahs can go a 5-2 bench quite easily. Besides havent any of you read about the new Tom Carter. Reinventing himself as an attacking...

    QLD Reds 2010

I was going to mention the star bit, especially when I saw Heenan's name thrown up. Vicks back would be good for Australian Rugby but it does say put the scrum cap back on which infers he hasnt been playing at all. Pure speculation and I would have thought that if it was genuine someone here...

Tri Nations squad named - NAMED ON PAGE 3 - GENIA IN!!!

Every squad could do with a good young hooker, especially league teams. Think of all the scandals that would be prevented.

This is going to go off topic very quickly. Perhaps a topic should be posted on the bottom "other" part of the forum before we ruin this thread and take attention away from what was a great series of rugby.

Oh how I enjoy national stereotyping. I have to say that in my own personal experiences Saffas tend to be arrogent, rude and abrasive. However that is only a trend based on the ones I have had dealings with. As I have never been to South Africa I would never attempt to define what a South...

Thanks Scorz. Just ruin all the confidence I had been buidling up. Rugby really is a simple game.

NSW Schools Trial Games and Selections 2009

Big call. Reckon Uni would still do pretty well if you give them all the Country players or even GPS/CAS kids that have never played for a club. While as you posted Eastwood arent bad as well (you can add O'Young as the list of local players) and I'm pretty sure would be more than a match for...

In PBs defence he isnt directly defending Burger, however in a case like this you arent going to be able to deflect attention by saying others have overstepped the mark previously or will in the future. In my eyes Burger has now committed 2 of the lowest acts you can on a field, abusing an...

I may have jumped a little too far but you do have a tendencay to make excuses for your players who have committed acts of foul play. As soon as I saw the incident i thought to myself, I wonder how PB will shift the blame for this one. I then read this... and was not surprised to see the first...

TYS Wallaby Player of the Year v FRA

Interesting "interview" between Robbo and Smith before the Italy game. Robbo was sledging Smith for being a fatty in his earlier playing days while Smith said his extra padding could be thanked for him having so few injuries.

    PB will like this

I'm going to go against you again PB and say the coach has no right to be in the field of play. Behind the dead ball line he can be saying anything he likes, but he has no place being where he is.

I want you to say he crossed the line without saying BUT for once. Every time we hear "but the ref was a tosser who gave him no choice but to take action into his own hands", or "BUT thats the way we tough men play rugby in SA" or "but I know he his father and he is a good bloke off the field...

Cmon PB. We all know you like your rugby hard but there is no justification, explanation or excuse that will wash with this one. I suggest you just let this one go for a couple of weeks and just say "no comment" otherwise you will lose respect. Hard is fine, thuggery is not.

TYS Wallaby Player of the Year v FRA

As a 6 Mumm is a Cockbain rather than a Elsom. He grafts away and while might not look spectacular he does alot of valuable work. Last night was probably the worst game Ive seen him play as he missed a tackle or two and dropped a ball or two but I still consider him a valuable member of the 22...

Wouldn't it be nice if Beauxis wears the same kicking boots he wore in November. Also hope it's not as cold at homebush as it was in Paris that night (or that I don't lose my jumper, coat, friends and train ticket). I agree with lee's comments on the team but actually don't think the French...

I have to admit I haven't read any reports or articles since the first test. Therefore I take it byrne's injury was serious. Out for game 3 as well? Was Fitzgerald on the wing ahead of Williams and Monye expected? Big challenge for someone many didn't want in the original squad. Personally I...
