I watched this game on fast forward last night and gee it was frustrating. The aussies must have had 75% of the ball and territory but just couldnt crack the Saffas who scored 2 intercept tries and another try that surely came from hands in the ruck forcing the ball out and a player running 60m...

Vickery was also pretty much destroyed by Robinson at Twickers last year. I got hit in the head with a few plastic pint cups (the heavy kind) for pointing that out rather loudly but it was worth it. I agree the Beast was boring in, but that was in part due to Vickery not being able to match...

G&GR Wallaby Player of the year: v ITY (2)

    3 - Gits .... Whoops, old habbits die hard. 3 - Burgess 2 - Mumm 1 - AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)

Wallabies v Italy Take 2 - changes a bloody plenty

General concensus at the end of last year was that Deans was mad for persisting with AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) as a fullback. Now it appears that most are picking him to be there against the French and, I'm assuming, also for the tri nations. I sat on the fence last year as AACs kicking game and option taking...

    Playing rugby in 2009

I'd like to say you should see the other guys nose but have to be honest and say I have no idea how it happened. I was playing ten so that rules out it happening in a tackle/ruck/maul. Must have stood on it myself doing up my shoelaces.

    Ben Alexander

Lets cross our fingers and hope he doesnt!! But if he does I guess Dunning would probably have to be the man. Didnt see all of the mud game but the Eastwood scrum seemed to be on top against Manly, especially on Dunnings side. Although he did act like a twit at the end of the match when he went...

    Whining about the cold

Sorry :-[ Was implying that it would be night time by 3.30 in November.

Out for 4 weeks with a broken hand. Just as we had won 2 in a row for the first time this season and starting to build momentum. :angryfire:

Ag what do you expect from has beens, Dik nek and klein tandjies, still no reason not to shake hands after a game of rugby. Still unsporting and a cold beer and a laugh is the way to go no matter the war on the field. Oom, Jaco vd Westhuyzen, who was also looking for trouble all match, started...

    Luke Burgess' psych up music

Given most warm ups are spent listening to teammates tell stories about picking up the night before I tend to go for Bob's No Woman No Cry.

So that would be the Qld side for week one. But by week 3 you would be back to (excuse spelling) McKibbon Lucas Finger A Feotoi Va'alu Davies McLinden

Kearney has had a quality year for Ireland and if it wasnt for Byrne he would be a very deserving 15 for the Lions. I must admit I put a couple of dollars on the Lions to win 3-0 but now PB has put a few doubts in my mind. Would certainly be more confident with Brussow in the team. PB -...

    How they bet

Given my name I would happily play the bookie and offer the odds of $34 for Baxter. Hell, Ill even raise it to $50. $2 max bet though.

Thought you said SA was really gearing up for the return to old school tours PB? Has that not been the case? Would have allowing Boks back to their teams made much difference? Great pity because for me it has just turned into a few warm up matches before a test series rather than a great tour...

    Todd Clever

Ryan Jones is one, and there are probably 5 more and maybe a couple of Davies as well. Unortunately Ryan had a bit of a shocker this year and Powell had a couple of good games for Cardiff when Rush was out and he has built a bit of a reputation based on efforts in 2nd rate EDF games more than...

    Western Force 2010

Re: Comings and goings at the Force But very admirable. Plenty on this board are quick to criticise players who take the money and run or who dont show the ticker we expect of players representing their country or state (or franchise).

You reallly are getting old Lee. Can Lindo confirm he was ok on Saturday. Bit worried when you cant recall your own flesh and bloods name. Or am I missing a joke here?

    Wallabies v Baabaas

Last I saw him was at Saracens but that was a while ago. Never actually thought he was as dangerous as some. Personally I thought he was always a bit like McLinden this year in that he would make plenty of breaks but they always seemed to end in turnovers.

    Wallabies v Baabaas

I managed to get to 5 of the pubs uphill, not to mention the three of them before the game but it went down hill when I went to the cross. Dont recall seeing any women though.
