Yes they all met each other But do they know yet who is in their teams? Is it normal to not have your teams set and the boys not to know what team they are playing in till the 1st game????? Even the A teams ?

Totally agree the inside centre for BBC was not passing quickly to the outside and getting it to the wingers. GT backline was well structured and fast hands. GT kicker was a bit of a shocker but fast on the field. GT backline was fast and strong. Don't believe BBC back line stuck to Barkers game...

Your knowledge is impressive. And agree if they should not make too much of any one team. The Gold Coast boys need to not let TSS be their boogie team. I hear big Syd would rather play 16As and is over the politics of BBC 1st rugby and just wants to enjoy playing with his mates. Len is the...

And Leyland played just not all the game.

Foulds had a run in the 1sts. Smith played in the 2nds, he needs to learn a bit more about rugby plus they have taken him out of 12 n trying him at 8. All of the boarders were back at they had just come back from a rugby camp at Bond uni. Barker is still looking at combinations and as I said...

Fraser Cotton from 15A's from last year .came on the 2nd half and played brilliantly. BBC play GT this weekend and there are still some injured boys that Barker does not want to risk. BBC has a great deal of depth and Barker has some hard choices. BBC has no goal kicker that was a major weakness.

Well the livid parent was wrong there was not 12 new faces in the team! And again was this all not hashed over last year? Is not rugby stronger for all these boys getting a chance to go to BBC and again have not all the other schools done it for years? The boys from BBC were genuinely shocked at...

NC are still in shock from it.But I hear that NC have some new boys for the 16A's.The main problem was the coach at NC thought he had that game won before they ran on the field. The boys were totally in shock and that was plain to see on the day. The forwards at BBC out played them that day with...

This is recruiting of course it is! It is how all the GPS Schools in Qld do it. The talent is in finding boys that have future potential and are going to grab the opportunity to be part of the amazing GPS entire system. NOT walk around like they are more important than the full total of the...

Firstly thanks for fixing my spelling and grammar mistakes.....are we back in school now??!! The 14A boys from the previous year were the basis of the 15A'S last year. The boys who then were in the B's continued to watch and clap the A's as they enjoyed beating teams like TSS in the last round...

The 15As COACH for this year at BBC is the same one that last years 15As had and he is the reason I hear that they performed so well. An exceptional Kiwi who's motivational talks before games gave the boys the belief that they could beat anyone . The talk before they played NC in the 2nd round...

Ikitau is the only 15A from last year to be in the 1st's that I have heard at this stage. With importing to the BBC especially some great WA boys the rest of the 15 A'S will find it hard to make the 1st's. Barker has looked for committment to training -with the 1st 's rowing coach helping the...

Stead ( under 16's)played well on the wing scoring 2 tries and 4 conversions 2 out wide 1 from either side. All the 16's stood up with BBC having a lot more out than TSS . The training seems to be working for pre-season at BBC

Is not BBC doing with their Scholarships what other schools have done for countless years? And were the BBC boys aware that all the 16A's had played before.I don't believe so. I heard the boys were concerned with boys being injured.

Gunter is in hospital and heard he is talking ok.heard the kicker in the 16As didn't miss one has real kicking depth. Looks like they don't have that in the 1st's yet

I hear that BBC 2nd string team with 14 of the main first team out played an Ipswich team with 5(?)or 4? players out of their squad in a trial game today. A lot of the 15A's stepped up I hear from last year. BBC stopped counting at 40-nil! Sadly it looks like Smith has major problems passing...
