The point of your post reminds me of School Captain Dom Walton’s game winning play in 2016 v Nudgee at Miskin. For whatever reason he was ignored all season and probably played a grand sum of minutes in single digits and likely only saw the field that day in the last 5 to 10 minutes as all other...

Aaron Cruden sends a cheerio from the Rugby wastelands.Jerome Kaino too. Both key starters at the time of their indiscretions.Cruden was at the peak of his career too. In Smith’s case you could make an argument that Wayne Smith is his Father and was the assistant coach at the time but without...

Tell that to the All Blacks. They seem to go alright in applying the theory. Even won a World Cup in 2011 with their 3rd choice Five Eighth, Stephen Donald, kicking the winning penalty shot in the Final. Everyone wants to emulate the All Blacks and talk a lot of shit about sweeping the sheds...

Agree with you on all games. You might be right about Southport’s defense but the difference is more in the attack with Southport scoring an extra 3 tries a game. Southport’s wings and fullback have scored 14 tries to BBC’s 4 and the Centres are 9 tries to 4 in Southport’s favour

Didn’t the Pipers beat Grammar by 50? Whatever it was I still think they win by a try BBC 50 v Hamish Roberts 43

Looks like their problem is too much size and a serious lack of conditioning to finish games out in the 2nd half. They will give a few oohs and aahs with a big carry here and a line hit there but those few instances goes away after the first 20 minutes and then its assume the position.

I think so. The call is on the hosting school. Harsh call from All Over It on his call of a 2 try result margin. BBC have a team of some of the best individuals in the competition. It will be more than you say

I have reviewed. They will do Churchie at home and run over the top of Grammar at home. I don’t see them doing Terrace at Terrace or Toowoomba at Toowoomba 2 wins

I see Terrace getting up on Grammar and State High for a 2 win season I don’t see Grammar getting a win and I see State High with a 1 win season

    State High too. At home.

What about the two tries Terrace left on the field before half time? Two knock ons with the line wide open.

Mr Jets, any chance of including the Downlands games in the tipping comp from here on in? I think that might end up being a good sorter a outerer

I guess I will have to watch the game tomorrow to see the apparent 16th man effort of the Ref seeing as won’t answer direct questions

    So BBC were dudded?

Mr Oracle 83 , I have’t seen the game yet but what do you mean about the Ref? Examples? Does the score line flatter Terrace?

Speaking of Ipswich, their 11 Malique Douthat-Sjoberg looks like one to watch. His try on State High last week was something else

I was the offender when I ruffled Mr Confucious’s feathers by referring to Ipswich’s Centres as “exceptional defenders”

    QLD GPS Rugby 2019

I guess everyone misses tackles and I always tend to be positive as you rightly suggested Mr Confucious but perhaps you are right. Maybe the Ipswich boys aren’t exceptional defenders in your and some other’s eyes but at a minimum I reckon they are very good. I like their ability to compete hard...

At full strength Ipswich easily have the best and most complete backline in the competition and it isn’t remotely close. Southport is going to monster every other pack’s set piece which give them a big advantage. They also have the power running games of Nongorr and Blake and the speed running...
