i thought the theory was if you need more enrolments? recruit some talented rugby players (i dare not mention how) = win the GPS/CAS... and then enrolment problems are solved. Something like "Build it and they will come". Has worked at least twice in the past couple of decades at two GPS...

The stats are revealing. In Aust schoolboys there are more selected from teams finishing 6th & 7th (Qld I with 8 & ACT with 5) than the teams finishing 1st thru to 5th combined (NSW II with only 3, NSW I with 5, CS with 1, Vic with 2 & Qld II with 1). On this basis WA should feel hard done by.

Fairly sure it is Schools that have 1st pick this year. Last year there was only 1 common player and he went to SJRU (ie they had 1st pick)
