10to12 - that I don't know. I just see that they have nominated two teams also. Apparently of the Norths Rep U15 team last year 13 or 14 (of the 23) are not returning or have joined other clubs (Randwick and Raptors). So might be some soaking going on there also.

Interesting comment - IIRC at an all districts meeting about a month ago an SJRU committee member with Hunters Hill affiliation proposed to all the districts that the opens or u17's be moved to the premiership clubs. It received support from those in attendance and was being taken to the NSW...

Scanning the JGC lists and as far as I can tell there are about 23-25 u16's playing in all the Sydney metro teams combined. So 25 out of possible 120 is hardly an equal opportunity.

SoC - Unfortunately these First XV lads are at GPS schools and have not seen the light of an SJRU comp for many moons. For them to be the "face" would be in absentia only.

Grammar had one lad (centre) in this age group in the 1sts last year, and another lad (loose forward) probably in 1sts this year. Scots, Joeys and Kings all had "superteam" U16's last year so hard for the year below to get a look in. Joeys half from the U15's might get a look. Not sure on...
