Waratahs v Brumbies, SFS Saturday 26 July

You mean besides him vomiting on the sidelines? Seriously, when was the last time we saw 'Tahman' at a Brumbies or Reds game?

Waratahs v Brumbies, SFS Saturday 26 July

To be fair, since when were the away teams ever allowed to bring their mascots with them? Why should 'Brumby Jack' be running around the sidelines of a Waratahs home semi?

Waratahs v Brumbies, SFS Saturday 26 July

I'm betting it'll sell out. There were less than half the tickets left a few days ago, so with the result now in I'd bet a lot more people will snap them up. Just glad I got my tickets good and early :D

Qualifying Final 2: Brumbies v Chiefs. Sat. 19/07

Fantastic match! Well done Brumbies, but this was one of those games that would have been fair to see either side win. Seriously hoping the Highlanders now upset the Sharks :D - would much prefer the Crusaders face the Brums in that form haha.

Qualifying Final 2: Brumbies v Chiefs. Sat. 19/07

Leaning toward the Brumbies, but they can't afford another goal kicking performance like last week...

Waratahs v Brumbies, SFS Saturday 26 July

Oh I see... yeah, well that is a bit of a bummer. But as has been pointed out, the real build-up will probably start next week.

Waratahs v Brumbies, SFS Saturday 26 July

To be fair, Twitter isn't overly representative of Australia - only about 10% of the population use it - so silence on Twitter might not be that indicative of the attendance. I seriously hope we get close to a sell-out though... first home semi since 2008 and the potential setup for a home...

Waratahs v Brumbies, SFS Saturday 26 July

He's still a little sloppy in defence, but the guy looked pretty good against the Reds I thought and definitely has a lot of power and will come in handy in the closing stages of big matches. I've been quite surprised about his passing ability to be honest - quite good for a bloke his size.

    Reds v Waratahs, round 19 2014

Don't think I said Melbourne copied Sydney, did I? With the cafe culture Sydney has certainly done its best to copy Melbourne over the last few years - and a bloody good thing too! Was awful here for a while... funnily enough a lot of the new cafes are guys from Melbourne who've setup here -...

    Reds v Waratahs, round 19 2014

Melbourne is a great place - half my family are from there and I always love visiting. Although to be honest I feel like people in Melbourne are competitive with Sydney than the reverse. Most people in Sydney don't really care one way or the other I don't think. In fact most people I know...

    Reds v Waratahs, round 19 2014

Ah, so the conspiracy goes deeper still! A Queenslander living in Melbourne! A man from a place with an anti-NSW bias, moving to a place with an anti-NSW bias (albeit a city with much more culture, better food, coffee and art than either Brisbane or Sydney). The herd is strong with this one...

    Reds v Waratahs, round 19 2014

That's just the sort of thing the Courier Mail wants you to think. You've been consuming their bile for so long now that not only have you become a puppet of their herd, you're convinced you still have an independent mind! Oh the humanity!

    Reds v Waratahs, round 19 2014

Strangely sounds like the sort of knee-jerk anti-waratahs comments NSW hating people like yourself so often spout...

Qualifying Final 2: Brumbies v Chiefs. Sat. 19/07

It may not be the only thing, but I've been reading all year that business confidence and investment is down in Canberra thanks to the loss of public sector jobs and anger about all the lies in the Budget. It's enough to take people's minds off sport in such a politically focused place. The only...

    Reds v Waratahs, round 19 2014

Yep, definitely no one-eyed, chip on the shoulder stuff there. Good to see you reading the Sydney fairfax press though mate. From your comments earlier I'd assumed you were a Courier Mail reader through and through.

Waratahs v Brumbies, SFS Saturday 26 July

This has been a pretty special season so far, and I got my tickets pretty well as soon as I could so lets hope more of the Sydney rugby watching public does the same. Of course, the lack of free to air coverage does hurt the team, but with the way they're playing at the moment surely there'll...

Qualifying Final 2: Brumbies v Chiefs. Sat. 19/07

Well when the primary industry of a town is effectively governing and public sector work, losing thousands of jobs is bound to hit all the service industries that .. Well service them too. And let's not be too precious about public cash; apparently it's quite alright to dish tonnes of it out on...

    Reds v Waratahs, round 19 2014

Absolutely, the Tele is an awful paper that has crapped on like nothing else for... Well ever really. My comment was, and remains a generalisation in response to a generalisation. I simply cited an example - admittedly from the lowest common denominator of society in News ltd, but an example...

Qualifying Final 2: Brumbies v Chiefs. Sat. 19/07

You get people from all over at Tahs games too in truth. At the Higlanders game I sat next to an older couple who'd come from Gosford and were full members. I've met people who've come all the way from Newcastle too. They wouldn't be the norm though, just as I doubt they wouldn't be the norm in...

    Reds v Waratahs, round 19 2014

Wow... That's being a little precious. I was merely providing an example as to why Qlders make awful winners and losers in response to your claim that the Waratahs are "the worst club in the world" (because that is so not the kind of thing a blindly one eyed Qlder with a chip on their shoulder...
