    The Rugby Championship 2016

Grade 1 AC joint Should be fully fit in a couple of weeks. I doubt we'll see Skelton again - that was a fail. Will be interesting to see Douglas form in the next couple of weeks.

    Reds 2017

Perhaps I was a being a bit flippant. I know they have all interviewed as coaches. Just not much else. I'm not saying they shouldn't be asked the right questions but it just seems ranking a candidate based on the way they answer the questions in a board room is overly simplistic and not...

    Reds 2017

I do find it a bit amusing that an interview process is used to select the coaches. Ffs most of these guys are ex professional rugby players who never interviewed for a job in their lives. How are they supposed to shine in an interview based selection process? I couldn't give two f@#ks who...

Brumbies vs Reds, Friday 1st of July, GIO Stadium Canberra

Missed the game so reading the comments with interest. Not much written about Leroy. How'd he look. Promising or underdone?

Can't like that enough. Absolutely spot on. So much banging on about what are essentially very small differences between locks, flankers, or wingers when that series showed conclusively the kicking and the halves depth is the elephant in the room. Regardless of improvement in other areas we won't...

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

Not really. Your post was just the one that pushed the button. it was just a general observation that a few people on this forum who seem to have valid and well thought out arguments are often backhanded by the same group of people because their arguments involve tahs players. Your comment...

    The Rugby Championship 2016

Even Steve Hansen said the bounce of the ball didn't go the wallabies way all series and they were better than the results suggest. Looking at some of the neutral forums there seems to be acknowledgement many of the 50/50 calls went against us. And so many of our unforced errors resulted in...

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

Country most likely to next challenge the ABs unchallenged run of dominance. Not yet with the current side but in the run up towards the next World Cup.

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

It's interesting there are a small nucleus of parochial tahs on this forum who are vocal and quick to jump on the bandwagon with back handed derision as soon as someone criticizes one of their own. You need to look at "the authors" a little more closely - many of the more balanced tahs fans on...

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

Nobody played badly. I'm certainly not saying that and I don't think most others are. Skelton had some good points but didn't offer as much as Coleman, Simmons or Carter and weakened our lineout. He was unfit and looked slow motion at times. So in most people's eye he makes way. Phipps played...

    The Rugby Championship 2016

Orbital fracture is usually 6-8 weeks so he should be back. Can do non contact work pretty soon after so fitness shouldn't be a problem.

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

I'd ditch Skelton and persist with Coleman, Simmons and Carter Also put Phipps on the pines and give genia or frisby a run. I would like to see To'omua get a run at 10 but given he's going o/s I'd persist with foley till we see what QC (Quade Cooper) has to offer And I'd bring in the biggest boot in the...

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

The penalty count was 9-6 and a couple of those 9 were fairly questionable The problem this week wasn't really discipline It was inability to exit our half (rubbish kicks) and errors whilst there. This week the errors weren't really penalties Bad clearances (Phipps poor pass to folau) a bad...

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

The pass at folau's boot laces deep in our 22 to give away 7 points might have something to do with it. Mirrored the pass over the head in game 1 - different trajectory, same result. 7 points in these close games is win or lose. It's not the only thing, but it's a major problem.

Or you could. There's a common denominator here..

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

Once again we scored more tries, had more territory, more possession and more line breaks. I don't agree they played better rugby They kicked better - for goal and in general play. And once again that was the major point of difference Aside from our errors which I agree didn't help.

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

Well that was an entirely winnable series that got away. We were a better side in so many facets but until we pick a kicker that can reliably find touch, exit our half when under pressure, and kick for goal, we are starting with a 10 point handicap. The only teams we will beat are teams that we...

Can you imagine if they hadn't got that 3 points and Foley was kicking the conversion to win after the hooter. I would have gone from shitting bricks to hurling my beer at the telly. Thanks Owens for saving my brand new flat screen smart tv. :) (And fuck off if you're tempted to reply with a...
