Hysteria right on cue Only surprise is it didn't come sooner

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

Nah - none of the locks have really shown a point of difference. Don't really have an opinion there. Maybe colemans worth a shot at some point.

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

I'd be telling quade if he signs a super contract this weekend he can have a shot at 10 next week. And as I said before game 2 our back row balance was shite - I'd throw Gill and Leroy in the mix as well. But I'll get accused of wearing red glasses again so I'll just shut up and watch us lose 3-0.

As a former second rower I would say it's highly improbable

Quade's officially activated the exit clause from yr 2 of his Toulon contract. I guess he's back unless the rebels poach him - For better or worse http://www.news.com.au/sport/rugby/quade-cooper-says-so-long-to-toulon-linked-to-reds/news-story/13c65e72490cb34a25c479be309eb7da

    Scrum Talk

It took 4 days with the benefit of slow motion to write that article. Real time it's not that easy. I agree the scrum lottery is an aspect that requires more work. The changes removing the hit have improved things dramatically, but we're not there yet.

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

I recorded it and re-watched it super slow mo on the big screen. From one still to the next both props have moved - Sio down and Cole flexed and rotated. Whatever initiated the move was a subtle change in angle and pressure which can't be clearly seen. Its easy to pick whatever still you want to...

    Scrum Talk

If we can't tell for sure after the event then Poite has no chance. The laws of the game regarding scrums still need tweaking. At the moment they're being used as a lottery to get a 50/50 crack at 3 points. Maybe they should stop the clock until the ball is fed, and also not allow any full arm...

Its pretty hard for Cole to keep both his binds when his opposite number is in the process of dropping flat on his face. He'd dislocate both his shoulders. Its impossible to tell from those stills which comes first, and its no easier on the slow motion replays either.

Wallabies v England in Melbourne, 18 June

It's not the possession stats that are the most damning. As you say that's not infrequent, and happens when a strong defensive team (2011 RWC wallabies) comes up against a team with good ball retention but poor attacking penetration (2011 SAF) It's the line breaks and tries on top of the...

Wallabies v England in Melbourne, 18 June

I do remember the SAF game. The stats were in their favour but weren't nearly as one sided and pocock dominated the breakdown. Can't recall the Wales stats. It happens, but rarely to the same extent and anecdotally more often to us. I think that reflects our discipline and history of kicking...

Wallabies v England in Melbourne, 18 June

Leaving Sio in the starting lineup is fraught with danger. It's not about him anymore Cole and Poite have created a perception. If Sio starts Cole will make sure every scrum goes down and the momentum is with him. Slipper has to start. If it still goes down on Coles side, then doubt comes in...

Interesting to hear cheikas comments that he felt having lilo on and slipping in to 12 meant they got to play wider with the two k's and create more opportunity on the edges (which was where most of our points came) Can't say I noticed that myself and lilo's been uniformly panned on this forum...

Wallabies v England in Melbourne, 18 June

Can't think of any other team in world rugby that could manage a loss with those stats. Maybe we can have a reverse World Cup for winning the stats but losing on the scoreboard. We'd rock at that. Those stats alone are a damning indictment on our kicking and discipline. Without being shite at...

Perhaps I should have said could instead of would - and saved you attacking the straw man. My point was that to assert foleys flakey kicking had no influence on the outcome of the game was utter nonsense. Glad to see you agree.

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

Seen that written ad infinitum on this forum Mostly I agree with it. But a conversion, whether it goes over or not, has no impact on the game whatsoever. It's not a sliding doors moment. The restart is the same regardless. But if we do apply your logic then it must also be applied in the reverse...
