    Rebels 2018

This last paragraph is quite interesting, a friend of mine who runs a local basketball association who get sponsorship for their higher level teams, he was actually saying at times he's effectively given away sponsorship, basically at the cost of the jerseys, because nothing stops sponsorship...

    Rebels 2018

Actually my best friend reads the financial statements for most the Aussie and Kiwi Super Rugby teams when they come out (she's a nerd like that)... Obviously she hasn't seen them for Melbourne previously because they were a private company, but I'm sure she's eager to read what becomes available!

    Rebels 2018

The other thing is they must have a lot more payroll expense when compared to the other Aussie Super Rugby teams, granted the Rebels don't have the financial air dam that is Ballymore (I'm not sure what the Waratahs excuse is, and the Brumbies run a tight ship), but they really must find some way to get...

    Reds 2018

Well unless they have to quickly fly over a scrub side from those who stayed home or face a forfeit (I mean it could be possible), but surely they would just reschedule; Karmichael isn't an issue that can't really be discussed until April, so I'm sure the QRU will have a lot to think about. As...

Kind of awkward that the Force even had a major sponsor, the main reason for not cutting the Rebels was 'financial', and the Rebels still have no major sponsor.

Like I'm not ASY (Angus Scott-Young) (a med student) but I don't know why you wouldn't just vaccinate the whole team against Yellow Fever 'just in case' surely the South Africans and Argentinians would be, just do it in training camp. So what if some of them get autism. /s

I can't help but notice that these things happen far more frequently with South Africa / to South African advantage than any one else. Anyone else able to recall of these types of things happening with other nations?

Should have been 18 hours it'll now be at least 24.

I broadly agree, but if you have Stewart / Lance / Paia'aua at 10/15 instead you could easily do without Toua at 15 as what he provides they could cover. Interestingly in that playmaking capacity, I think Toua has been getting more out of our backs than Lance has. Kind of awkward that the winger...

You could also play Toua on the wing, shuffle the rest of the backline and have Stewart / Paia'aua fill in whatever holes there are left. We don't really have anyone else in the touring squad who can outright play wing, IMO even CFS isn't a real winger, he's more a center playing on the wing...

Pretty sure you'd need to go via Brazil to get to SA.

Ned Hanigan! Gave him like 7 games playing 80 minutes a game and the kid did not a whole lot! I genuinely felt like at times he was a net negative for the team. I'm sure he's got the potential to be a good player but just not yet.

I feel like this underestimates Cheika's love to pick a Waratah! Timu would be behind Naisarani, and Dempsey (assuming fit), and I would for obvious reasons have him behind Higginbotham but for whatever reason he wasn't picked for anything after the June Series, but there are a lot of...

This is kind of worrying, I'd rather not be playing a professional sport having just had a vaccination... Maybe ASY (Angus Scott-Young) can give them to the team or does he have a while to go on his degree. :p:rolleyes:;)

I do think it'll take quite a bit for him to come in over the top of Naisarani (likely the incumbent if only for residency purposes), but I do think it's possible. It baffles me that Cheika didn't pick Higgers last year he would have been exactly the player he was looking for, can lineout, can...

I haven't seen anything else, but I think if his on field performance can match his press conference abilities we might have a future Wallabies Capitan on our hands. That's one of the best interviews given to a non-english speaking press I have seen in a long long time!

I've gotta say Stewart wasn't the only one with poor kicking that game, I think the Jaguars did a very very good job of attacking the kicker, there were a number of times a number of our were very visibly rushed into poor kicks. I do think we would have done well to have Lucas realize this and...

I think the reason the Kerevi - CFS partnership is more attractive than the normal 'big boppers' is that Kerevi is quite skilled for a 'big boppa' not as skilled as you'd like at 12, but gets the job done. I think these last few games have cemented Douglas as the third lock. He's not bad but...
