    All Blacks Non-Bledisloe Matches 2024

What you confused about? TJ being TJ Perenara. The incident that looked like his leg/knee was bent badly the wrong way in the English counter ruck? or something else? Because I don't know about you, but his leg/knee doesn't look great when Barrett falls on/pins it here.

    All Blacks Non-Bledisloe Matches 2024

Finau looked a little in his shell. Like he was more worried of making a mistake than expressing himself. Felt like a subdued performance from him. I really felt for TJ. He was looking sharp until his knee was bent all kinds of wrong. I actually thought Beauden looked pretty assured when he...

    Wallabies v Wales, 6 July

As I said above, I thought the Gordon/Noah axis was good overall. I'd like to see it again next week. Agree that you could see him trying to reset himself after missing the kick in front. I think I must have missed something with the Hunter comment?

    All Blacks Non-Bledisloe Matches 2024

Razor looked like he knew it too at the end of the game. It wasn't a dominate performance. England put them under a lot of pressure and weren't far off. Marler subbing off early was a bit of a loss for England. It was an enjoyable game to watch as a somewhat neutral.

    Wallabies v Wales, 6 July

As I said above. Odd game. Feel like Noah has been better at taking that right options this year, but that was a moment of low rugby IQ. We've often looked like a team who would benefit from a little more patience and focus at times.

    Wallabies v Wales, 6 July

It was an odd game in terms of what they were doing well or not. Too many great moments followed by a poor moment that let off the pressure, but overall on balance for the amount of prep it was a solid first outing. It felt very stop start at times with the Welsh players taking the knee which...

When Blackadder isn't injured/recovering and on form he is a quality player. He's put in some pretty solid shifts for the Crusaders at times. Depends what you're going for, but I can understand why hes in the mix.

    South Africa v Ireland 1am AEST 07/07

Hopefully. I think my Irish lads are going to miss players like Hugo Keenan, Mack Hansen and in particular Jamison Gibson-Park who has been the standout 9. I think they'll have something to prove, but this South Afirican team is looking as strong as ever.

    Waratahs 2025

I'm doubtful their contracts cover any such scenario of playing in a foreign competition for another organisation. Not to mention whose paying for all the players living abroad costs?

Richie aint all that bad. I'd take a genuine lock of his calibre.

    Waratahs 2025

RA can barelly cover everything else they need to cover. Not sure that this would stack up economically for them. Personally I think a 3rd teir attached to the existing Super is likely the best solution with what we have to work with (heck the players are already contracted and getting paid)...

    All Blacks Non-Bledisloe Matches 2024

I like the look of this team, but it'll be interesting to see how quickly they gel. How many times has the McKenzie/Perenara partnership occured? That bench looks pretty solid. Real depth of experience with a couple of guys who will be hungry to make their mark.

    Waratahs 2025

While I thumb up this, I do find it a tad sad that so many of our players have had to go to NZ between Super seasons to get more high quality game time. The local system is really broken in offering the necessary development and game time for our players.

    All Blacks Non-Bledisloe Matches 2024

Agreed. Itoje is looking like he's finding some of his former form which is good to see. He's looked like he'd lost his edge for awhile there. Reminded me a bit of James Ryan or Ireland who was red hot for a season or so and then lost his edge. Marler is the kind of grub you love to have on your...

    Waratahs 2025

Why not both. As much as we're focusing on the HC, I feel that it's the whole coaching team that's important. Is Wisemantel only keen on the HC role or would he be happy with an assistant role? I don't know their dynamic but they have worked together. The All Blacks looked better when Foster...

    Barbarians v Fiji - 2:05am AEST 23rd Jun

Sio's scrummaging looked good. He was putting some good pressure on his side. In general play, I wouldn't say he stood out to me. He had a nice carry or so. Got pinged for a counter ruck where he wasn't supporting his body weight. He looks possibly a tad slower (maybe even a little bigger) than...

Super Rugby Final 2024. Blues v Chiefs, June 22.

It was a clinical display from the Blues. Made for a slightly boring game as a neutral as the Chiefs didn't look like challenging the outcome and it was never in the balance with the Blues well and truly dominating. Lots of credit to Cotter and his team for tweaking this squad into a...

    Barbarians v Fiji - 2:05am AEST 23rd Jun

Really fun game this one. Fiji have such lovely interchanges in tight. So entertaining to watch. I'm not sure they'll be entirely happy with the result though as they should have done better with the cohesion they have over the BaaBaas, though that said, there was some genuine talent in this...
