What will lose the RWC for the Wallabies?

That's why I'm in favour of having Higginbotham and Pocock as starting breakaway's, with Beau Robinson there as Pocock's back-up. His work for the Reds this year has been extraordinary.

What will lose the RWC for the Wallabies?

    a) This is the only concern I have about Beale and the only reason I ever consider moving AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) back to fullback. Hopefully he can improve this weak link in his game because otherwise he's one hell of a player. b) Quade has improved his tackling (I really noticed an effort in defence against the...

    Wallaby Blindside/Number 8 watch

The captaincy should be given to somebody who improves with the (c) next to his name. All it's done for Rocky is increased pressure and hampered his naturally flaring style. Being Reds skipper really lifted Genia, who started to back himself more and set the bar high for the other 14 on the...

    Wallaby Blindside/Number 8 watch

I'm fine with picking Palu if fit. He's proven himself in the past, he's played some good Rugby this year and provided he can see out the full 80 minutes his selection, in my opinion, is unquestionable. However, since his appointment to the Wallabies captaincy, Elsom hasn't really provided that...

Not too sure. Wouldn't think so.

    Wallaby Blindside/Number 8 watch

For a World Cup Squad of 30, you'd pick: Props x 4: Starting LHP, THP, Reserve THP and another versatile backup. In this case I'm thinking Robinson, Kepu, Slipper and Alexander. Hooker x 3: Starting, reserve and backup. TPN and Moore pick themselves, and at this stage probably Fainga'a (In pool...

He played Prop. Year 11 Al Harper played at 2, a solid performance. The loss of Sam Greene at fullback is a big blow for BGS.

They beat them comprehensively in 2010 with a similar backline. The forwards aren't as powerful now that Bermingham/ Carpenter (Both QLD 1 reps) have moved on but they're still a decent pack. Should be a good match.

Any idea who will take over from Sam Greene at fullback? Not too sure about the seriousness of his injury.

    Wallaby Blindside/Number 8 watch

I'd like to see Palu starting, play 50- 60 mins and then have Samo play the finishing stages. Both have fitness issues, and I think Samo's mobility and power could work wonders against a tired opposition forward pack. I also have to agree with The Konze. There's no way Rocky should make his...

But then his freakish skill set, especially his almost unrivalled kicking game, aren't properly utilised.

    Brumbies vs Lions @ Canberra - 2011R13

Good little inside ball for that Lions try. If the Brumbies don't win this one then the whole board and staff should step down. To lose to the Lions with players like AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), Giteau, Alexander, Moore, McCabe et al. would be a complete and utter embarrassment.

Those injuries must have had a big impact on TSS's squad, they nearly got done by Downlands last week.

    Reds vs Blues MOM

    3. Scott Higginbotham 2. Will Genia 1. Digby Ioane Honourable Mentions: James Horwill, Quade Cooper (He actually made a few tackles!), Beau Robinson (Surely he's Pocock's back-up by now) and Radike Samo.

I heard TSS have picked up a few serious injuries to some key players, any truth to this?

That's a big call tipping Downlands. Grammar has a strong team with lots of experience, speed and strength, and coupled with it's highly qualified coaching staff (A former Wallaby and a former Reds backs coach/ player) they'll have a strong season. Grammar by 12.

Grant Davies (Flyhalf), Blake Laud (Outside), Nick Anderson (Prop). Still a strong team with lots of experience.

Losing by 70 to Ipswich doesn't all come down to 3 undersized forwards. They should probably be having a second look at the whole team if they can't secure enough ball or score more than one try.

    Hybrid Test 22

I think that a Hybrid Test is a terrible proposition. It'd be much better playing a half of each or a 2- match series. With this in mind, Union would have to pick a side of flashy backs and mainly backrowers in the forwards. Beale would be great at fullback, his skill set coupled with his speed...
