    RWC Pool C - Australia v Wales - 5AM 25 Sep AEST

Agree. That’s why EJ (Eddie Jones) picked some props who can give you one or two “runs” but can’t scrum at all ( too much emphasis across the pathways on the highlights reels for a few strong carries rather than forwards who can actually do their primary roles)

    RWC Pool C - Australia v Wales - 5AM 25 Sep AEST

Impressive how Eddie and his League genius assistants have made our scrum resemble an NRL scrum

Gee Pone looking great in the scrums

    RWC: Pool C - Wallabies v Fiji - Monday 18 Sep 2am AEST

Why not play Nongorr. If he is good enough to be picked for the Wotld Cup, surely Eddie needs to back his own selections? Or did he take him along for a series of 5 minute cameos

Context is important: these selections are only marginally “merit” teams ( both last year and this year it wasn’t anywhere close to a QPR XV “selected”) and the Reds and QPR should make that clearer in the communication /posts. Despite that, clearly some of the names would be head scratchers...

Did the pick the wrong Wilson and wrong Usher? Wouldnt surprise me.

Has Crosby Park announced a successor yet? It will be interesting to see if any of these end up in QPR next year or in director of rugby type roles at some of the clubs.

Looks like an unsurprising (and understandable if you’re the new main man) clean out and fresh start. Big Bosses backing Les Kiss massively; I am excited for some new energy and ideas.

I agree with many previous. Here’s mine from the matches I watched: Usher Fraser Sheriff Leeming Connors/ Kapa Batisabaga Herbert/ Gicquel Hemopo Sorovi / Pilz [ is Sorovi still contracted ?) Twidale/ Pappin Sperling/ Kennedy Nasoko Bond/ Boardman Towers Ngamu /Whiteside

Good hard rugby and great atmosphere at Ballymore. Could have gone either way up to the last few seconds ( and as Reg intimated, I am sure the Wests supporters will be debating those last 30 seconds for many many years to come). When does the next season start??? Can’t wait.

Agree - this will be an intriguing aspect to watch and could be key for both teams. It will interesting to see how the Brothers loosehead is policed especially, in both semis it took the officials a few scrums before they stopped tolerating Brother pulling the opposing tight head down on...

also for the Filth: Dobbins in the Colts final, Usher on bench for Prems. Also interestingly Will Wilson and Dom Fraser in 3rd grade Final.

Not Bond’s day today. Brothers relentless and too good. Based on their form and their run into the final, Brothers should go in as heavy favourites but the final should be a good one.

Fat lady warming her voice here. Looks like Filth v Wests next week.

    Wallabies 2023

Can’t remember the Storm performing very well in Super Rugby :)

    Wallabies 2023

That was a very weird way for a coach leaving for the World Cup to behave. I feel for the players because Eddie seems to want the whole country to cheer against them.

That’s all she wrote. Unlucky for Easts to end the season with nothing to show. Lawson Creighton controlled the play brilliantly for the Filth. And big Harry Wilson was massive. Should be a cracker against Bond

Agree. There seemed to be a good deal of mutual respect for a very hard semi final. This afternoon promises another cracker.

Fair enough. But we must get this right at at grassroots so that our front rows are prepared in the big time. It’s an important part of the game and a thankless job especially for an ex back I guess
