Jack McGregor (Riverview) has signed with Gordon... will be interesting to see how many of his team mates follow in his footsteps, a bunch of them having played, and been successful, at the club in the junior rep days.
Just to clarify, I'm a mate of Conor's and in no way was I antagonizing him or identifying his reasoning as a "dummy spit". His reasons are very fair in my eyes so everyone can just settle down now
Both Gehrig and Hurley have pulled out from Riverview.
Gehrig due to injury (much the same as Girdlers) and Hurley may be due to him prioritising academics over rugby. Academic excellence may be at a higher priority for Hurley (something to do with the world not revolving around schoolboy...
Newington: Sepesa Loga-tarogi #11/14 + Simon Kennewell #13/11/14
Riverview: Jack McGregor #10
Joeys: Tom Wright #15/11/14
Scots: Theo Strang #9 (easily eclipsed by Goddard from Oakhill) nonetheless if injury persists etc. could be in with a shot
Those would be my strong contenders having...
L.S Ran a ridiculous 400m in 46.8 seconds (one of the fastest times in Australia across all ages), which complimented his recent induction into the Australian Athletics Side competing at the World Youth Championships in Columbia sometime this year.
He will NOT be playing Rugby as his main...
I do not but I have a bit of knowledge on the side facing Waverley.
Thoughts on the starting lineup is:
Alex Hamilton - 1
Jack Morrison - 2
Alex Hancock - 3
James Lott - 4
Xavier Fitzpatrick - 5 (Jack Todhunter will rotate in)
Elliot Gehrig - 6
Lachlan Archer - 7
Michael Fenn - 8
Noonan (New)...
1st XV View vs Waverley 11:15 @ Queens Park 1
Back Line Missing -
Most notably McGregor #10 will not be playing
Jake Prina also missing 1st XV 2014 (athletics)
Will Terry is also 1st XV 2014 & NSW 7's 2015 (athletics)
Tom O'Reilly out too 2nd XV 2014 (Athletics?)
Charlie Smith from Scots would be a solid 8 if you were to put Chrichton at Outside and Hutchinson at inside. After seeing Hutchinson play 12 against Augustines, the combination of Hutchinson and Chrichton would be absolutely lethal.
