Not sure what game you were watching. The inside centre for Ashgrove was shortened up by the inside centre for Downlands and never did a thing from that point on. And this from a Ashgrove supporter.
Just wishing BGS the best of luck this weekend in what is essentially the final of this competition. If GT are the best cricket team to come through GPS cricket, then how did they tie with ACGS last weekend. They required 3 from the last over and "chocked". So much for winning the tight games.
I do know that some of the 1983 BGS Premiership winning first XI cricket team are going out to the game on Saturday. Hopefully this will help BGS win their first premiership in 30 years.
