To my mind your question denies each party their individual right to be themselves, making noone happy
Rather why cant each party be themselves despite what is said - requiring an element of respect not witch hunt
Who would be up in arms if someone decided to post up that League is the best...
Many credible sources within the game attest to Folau's immense talent and we as pundits have seen his skillset unique consistently against good opposition. Thats not the real issue.
But like QC (Quade Cooper), KB (Kurtley Beale), Pocock and all the other immensely talented individuals we've seen in this current generation...
Any critique of the decision maker, especially between these two rivals, is a given, though subjective.
All rugby games should be given only the best performing refs especially here in the SH. Understanding that refs too fluctuate in form.
Its a fair quip to suggest that Poite's indifference...
Ahhh, so is this is why the wobs played poorly? Or why the darkness won?
Addressing Poites' issues or any refereeing issues in general doesnt in any way nullify the shortcomings of the wobs.
Yes, the wobs are the true victims here.
Maybe they should have an advocate at the IRB, wait a...
Well, how bout we install the Aus Olympic women 7s team...
Drop enough to keep em honest and humble, I would say Moore, Hooper, DHP or whoever (as there is good enough cover plus the those former two are senior enough and motivation in the team wont be a problem, i hope)..
I remember reading...
Its excuses like this that overlook the reality...'out of position'? to make a tackle you mean? - the kid will be good, but he wasnt good enough - should be dropped as should anyone else who wasnt up to par or atleast benched.
Foley has everything to do with it, whats the point of catching the...
Yes, he deserves his spot on the back of the June series, but to assuage his poor showing due to positional inexperience, especially given wings and FB are equally given free reign to roam.hmmmm Yeh spose he has some work-ons and now has experience against the darkness.
Poey is out of position, but this doesnt impact his play. No, DHP was targeted and rightly so, found out for frail defence which leaked three. Missed tackles is not a poor nite, its poor skills esp as an FB. His only saving grace is that he is a newby.
Hooper had a poor nite, because he is...
Why would you consider DHP for FB on the back of last nites defensive effort, when he does not offer anything on par or better.
If you move Folau out of FB, you open the back field to contestable bombs, minimise launching counter attack, his free roaming ability to inject himself and you can...
Point taken.
I was suggesting that the wobs cant rely on riding the coattails of either refs' favour or passively letting others do the grafting, as an attitude or approach to winning.
Im not saying the wobs have the measure of the darkness man for man, but collectively they just dont...
Not sure if ure being sarcastic.
Although that sentiment perhaps typifies the current valley the wobs are in, always blaming or waiting for someone else to show the way rather than take the lead in the manner it should be done.
Two different mindsets, the darkness 'actively hustle, think on the run until final whistle', wobs 'set up and waiting for opportunities to open up' -
Seems TGC got this one wrong from the camp - and the players were pressed to follow that game plan - its prolly one plausible way of interpreting...
#Whinging101
Absolutely embarrassing, what exactly did the wobs get up to for that whole month?
Spose losing key players in backline didnt help, yet it does highlight how feeble the backline is, when one player goes down and the house falls anyway... And not much offered among the piggies...
Personally, dont think its all doom and gloom:
Both sides were somewhat evenly paired, if skewed favourably to the Wobs based on recent performance history; Throughout the series both played a predictable and confrontational style of footy while the Wobs actually showed a glimpse of the old...
Yup, what he said.
Anyhoo, Wobs have done well, theres lots to celebrate. Yeah the WC woulda been great, but def something to build on - as previously mentioned, topped pool of death, beat Eng & Wales, made finals, have core players to build the next campaign around, TGC..... Its not all doom...
Congrats Darkness, thoroughly deserved. You dominated the game with better variation in attack, neutralized the fardy-pooper enough and overall more accurate, could of been and should have been more.
Commiserations Wobs, your defense was outstanding, however your lack of penetration was the...

Here's to the old-skool... may such values forever be instilled from the bottom and exemplified at the top #betterpeoplemakebetterABs
If the Wobs take it up early against the Argies - it may result in a contest of attrition, and a blunt force trauma approach considering the weather may benefit the most accurate boot.
I would suggest as another option the opposite, absorb the early onslaught with defense and overwhelm as...
