Randwick 3rds #7 'Jack Hayson', who played NSW Schools last year. Moved from Warringah 1's to play at Randwick and from all reports on the forum was killing it in their 1's?
Why didn't this Uni Aus A boy play in 2s, 1s or grade? Seems like a massive waste of talent, size and "uccyyynesss" that could've been used elsewhere. From watching and playing in that game, his opposite man in the scrum did not seem to be affected by his presence either.
Completely understandable. Both sides have shown the immense depth that remains at their club. Hence the respective placings on the ladder. Jonah Taylor moved from Randwick to Gordon as it was closer to home and a few of his country mates played for the tartan too.

We only found out about this during the week (reading the forum). There were other NSW schoolboys/1st XV players playing in that game too that we knew about. Was surprised about this player.

Was certainly a great day of rugby. The Battle of the North it seemed lived up to its hype with many boys playing against old schoolmates for the win.
Some scrappy play and discipline towards the end of both 2s and 3s games, but with the scores that close, was some truly entertaining games of...
