Godwin (Force) would be a good one to take on tour.

Recommend getting a start vs Italy.
Godwin to have shoulder surgery this week wont be available for the last game against the Brumbies. Looks like about a 10-12 week rehab so might miss out on higher honors this year

So was Foley foxing about Godwin's status for the Force v B&I Lions game or not?

Sounds like he may not have been telling porkies after all.

Even McKenzie's Wallaby side to crush England at Twickenham will be:

Lealifano Tapuai
Speight Folau
Mogg

Bench
Slipper Holmes Hanson
Pyle Hooper
White To'omua Tomane

To'omua and Godwin are my tip in regards to youngsters and surprises seletected for the tour. How times have changed, last year Quade was preety much our only decent choice at five eighth and now every super club sports a gun fly half

Assuming lack of injuries, the team for the EOYT will look like

Robinson, Moore, Alexander, Douglas, Horwill, Higgenbotham, Hooper, Palu, Genia, JOC (James O'Connor), Ioane, Lealiifano, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), Cummins, Barnes.

In the Scotland and Italy games we will have an opportunity to blood some youngsters and the up-and-comers.
Eg. Sio, Hanson, Ryan, Pyle, Carter, Cottrell, Gill, Timani, White, To'omua, Morahan, Godwin, Inman, Speight, Mogg

NOTE: It is a stupid idea to just throw them all out there at once. In the Scotland/Italy games, 4-6 would be okay. In the others, 3 at most.

I would have thought the ARU would have released Ioane and Barnes before the EOYT unless there are a massive amount of injuries.

fatprop How fortunate that the locks named were Horwill and Douglas :)

It is a real shame losing Timani though. He makes a big impact at scrum.

he was in your "eg" part. ;)

As for players worth a look, I think there will be quite a few opportunities for younglings, there is a rather tough schedule coming up

6 Match tour on the back of the Lions and RC, is the ARU not asking enough of these guys this year? It will be 1 month off and than back into Pre-season training.

Think Higgers will still be in working on rebuilding that shoulder and won't be available until Soup trials next year. Bummer, want him back on the paddock as soon as possible.

Please Please Please take Pyle and give him a start in a test match.

Mitch Inman would be good to take and give him some experience at test level.
