Directions by Car:
The Sydney International Regatta Centre "SIRC" is situated 5 minutes from Penrith; 30 minutes from Parramatta; 40 minutes from Homebush Bay; 60 minutes from the Sydney CBD. For general information about SIRC, please click here.
If travelling from the city we suggest exiting the M4 Motorway at the Northern Road and following the signs to Sydney International Regatta Centre. The M2 Motorway provides an alternative route whereby visitors can travel to the venue via Windsor and Richmond. The M7 now provides an additional, faster link from the northern suburbs.

Directions by Public Transport:
The nearest bus, train and taxi services operate from Penrith Railway – approximately 6km from SIRC. At present there are no regular public transport routes to the venue but taxis should be available if necessary.

The AAGPS wishes all competitors and schools the best of luck at the Head of the River, the final event of the AAGPS summer season.

As Rudderless says, Riverview had a great day out at the Head of the River today, here are the “View GPS race results;

4th IV = 1st
3rd IV = 1st
2nd IV = 2nd
1st IV = 1st
2nd VIII = 1st
1st VIII = 1st

Well done to Kings for winning the 2nd IV and they were very competitive all day.

Awesome performance by View today and the entire program. Won the yr 10 2nd & 3rd Eight as well with 2nd in the yr 10 1st 8.

Kings deserve credit for being in just about every race. Shore will be disappointed but so should others. Didn’t Scots only place in the 1st 8 for the entire day?

Fantastic effort.

Repechage 8s are today right? View went straight through to the final on Sunday by winning their heat.

Tricky style of race. You need a good time not necessarily just racing your opponent. If they can do a time close to their HOTR it will be enough

That's right TGoR repecharges on today for some crews. I know 'View had a strong headwind in their heat and the water was choppy, agree a sub 5.55 should work.

St Joseph’s and Scots are also in Perth but are racing in the U19’s Eights category rather than the Schoolboy Eights with Riverview Newington and Shore
