News coming out Villa today is they are looking to steam roll Lauries at home this weekend. Whilst Lauries have an extremely strong forward pack, the Villa backline in particular the #12 and #15 will look to expose the faults of an already struggling Lauries backline. In addition to this, the home ground advantage and a packed crowd on a new Villa grandstand should set the bar for Villa to come out looking hungry. Villa by 12+ with the #12 and #15 likely to score.

News out of St Laurances, a potential change for the weekend ahead, Lachlan Marchant could be the new Hooker due to an apparent minor injury to Jackson Goss. With new found weight and bigger breasts, Marchant is looking like an absolute menace and will pose a huge problem for the villa forward pack. Look out for #2 in the black and yellow this Saturday.
Prediction, SLC to win by 5.

Will be an interesting season, not the regular one of course with COVID 19. My prediction is that MCA will once again take out the championship. However #12 from Villanova, mr Gus Godwin (year 11) is looking for a cracking season playing last year in the starting team as #13. He is looking very fine this year and in some well form.

News coming out of Villa is that Henry Holt played well in MCA vs VNC trial

yes can confirm that the young islander played very well. Ran onto the ball steaming making great meters. He is predicted to come of the bench at #8. He is quite a big fella, might need to watch his discipline however. None the less am looking forward to seeing him in action.

Bad luck boys. You can chat about it in maths class on Monday. Great comeback by Lauries.

The Lauries v Villa game was absolutely atrocious. The clearly bias ref had given away countless unfair penalties for lauries yet ignored all the Lauries offsides... It is clear in the livestream that the game winning try for Villa was sabotaged by two obstructions. Very disappointing to watch the bias refereeing on what was easily Villa'a game. On a brighther note, Josh Bellinger was an absolute menace for the Villa forward pack!

Padua vs Pats details:

Padua had two injuries to their 13 Darcy Ryan and 15 Will McCullough, one red card to one of their props and also a yellow card to their flanker Josh Toohey. They had many penalties go against them in both halves, however the ref isn't to blame, Padua's discipline was horrible. I have to give credit to Padua to show resilience and fight in them to get them over the line.

Pats had one yellow card for a very late hit to Padua's 15. Their passes were very bad at times with most passes going behind their players.

The game was very scrappy for both teams, (this may be due to the wind).

They were both tied with 6 minutes to go however Pats scored a try to make it 15-20 to Pats with 5 minutes to go. Padua kicked off with 3 minutes to go and their flanker Josh Toohey went over in the corner on the last play to level it.

I wouldn’t say paduas discipline was horrible, the ref was clearly one of Sandgates finest. Padua also lost number 8 popsi manu to injury

At the end of the day Iona will determine who goes through. Though I heard they lost a couple of good players for the season recently.
Iona v Peters? What was the damage at Tivoli?? Heard Dreghorn is back for half at least for for MCA, possibly Laffer as well.

Although a very scrappy game to watch and poor execution from both sides the biggest deciding factor and the main reason Padua failed to win was - Late hit (shoulder charge) on Padua 15 Will McCulloch by Pats 11 Nesta (I think) only produced a yellow card(red card in my opinion). McCulloch left the field with a suspected broken hand. So basically took out arguably Paduas best attacking option with foul play and only received a yellow. Add to that Paduas prop received a red card for back chat(swearing at ref). Colour of cards should be switched in those scenarios.
