No one would of beaten the ref tonight haha I mean crusaders. They did something penalty worth at every ruck as the game went on. Cleaning out and laying everywhere at every ruck.

Go the force!!!!

One thing is clear from that game for the Brumbies, they need To'omua in the lineup getting more game time. He has by far ImO the best passing game of all the inside backs. He is composed and he didn't shy from a tackle. CL is a good bench man because he can add a spark if required. The midget 2nd 5 might be quick and have a decent swerve but does he even know how to distribute??

As for the forwards, the only name you heard and jersey you saw consistently at the collisions was Colby's. He played a fairly lone ranger type game last night. The tight 5 were well off the pace and didn't put any pressure on the Saders at ruck time. Scrum wasn't too bad and they at least put in some decent hits, so unless that sapped all their energy, they were found wanting in other key facets.

As for the good guys :) we started scratchy again but then kicked into gear by playing the side to side brand and then using Carters an Dagg's boot to get field position.

The midfield are a tough cover especially when Carter is attacking the line. Thought Sam Whitelock was superb, this kid will be an AB for a very long time.

Unlike Chis he attacks everything with almost reckless abandon and it actually results in a positive outcome for the team. Was good to see the Bash brothers get a run together as the past couple of weeks Ben has come on to replace his brother at TH. LH is Bens better position, plus I love how these guys attack and defend at the breakdown, they are hard as nails.

I was at the match. Brumbies were/are not the well organised side we are used to seeing. Fruen's rundown of AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) was sensational and a highlight of the game.

"Just to ask the question, has the knock on Law been changed? The lead up to the try from SBW has to be questioned the ball was clearly tapped forward twice by Ellis and even though it was regathered is this not an intentional knock on? I remember Campo getting penalised for this very thing and having a joke with the ref about it."

Can only assume the ref tought them unintentional, as in Ellis was legitimately attempting to recover the ball. You could possibley make that case for one of those bat-forwards being a genuine attempt but the other one did look deliberate to a casual observer.

Crusaders by 39.

Nice prediction. May have misunderestimated your rugby acumen.

The Brumbies have some injury issues coming out of the game with Mitchell Chapman suffering a fractured cheekbone that require a plate to be inserted and a prolonged stay in New Zealand before being able to fly home.
Henry Speight has a suspected fracture jaw that could rule him out for a month.

And finally, all 22 players are suffering from bruised egos....

Alright, I'll pay that, he looked a bit limited though? Does he actually have a step on him, or does he just like running straight into people? Think against the really top teams he'll get cut down fairly easy.

Brumbies need Chapman...

They don't need Speight...
