you'd imagine a lot more than that. the game usually gets a few thou.Guys heard Knox and Barker are going to have 1000+ people going tomorrow. Is this true? if so might come down and watch
It was a game of defense defense defense. Both teams defended well for large periods. Trinity extensively so against a Waverley attack that never seemed to click.Does anyone have a match recap from the Trinity v Waverley Game

Waverley had forward, lineout and scrum dominance, but could not go longer than four phases without giving away a penalty - Trinity had the run of the green(one pass in particular would make Tom Brady proud) and kept going down injured, with the ref not knowing of injury time - a large portion of the second half was astute gamesmanship by Trinity to wind down the clock.
Waverley did have an attacking scrum at the end and dropped the ball - game over.
I’m not sure why Waverley agreed to a Friday night game on a field with lights that made it difficult to see the ground in front of you. But smart work by Trinity to change the set up as the 3:15 kick off is much more suited to Waverley than a dim lit paddock.
15A Waverley 37 Trinity 19Trinity do have an excellent u15A team but they won't blow over Waverley. These are the 2 standout teams in this age group.
The Waverley Vs Trinity U15A could potentially be one of the highlights of the year across all CAS games as both teams see this as their GF - whoever wins this will go undefeated in that age group. I believe this game will be played at Queens Park Saturday week.
To give this context, last year Trinity deservedly beat Waverley to take out the title - first defeat for this Waverley team in 3 years. Both teams have been preparing during the preseason with this game solely in mind.
Speaking from the Waverley team, they easily ran through Shore winning something like 48-0 and disposed of Oakhill 15A's 66-0 last Saturday. They play Scots this week and it should be a similar result.
The beauty about this age group at Waverley is the depth, the B's side would also alot of A's sides in this age group (I believe they play St Pats A's this Saturday) - they have been undefeated for 2 years and will more than likely do the same. Over the last 2 years there has been musical chairs between the 2 teams - very competitive.
The player I'd keep my eye out in the Waverley A's is their #9 and Captain - Riley Carr.
Just a little scent of sour grapes there.... Why was the ground more difficult to see for Waverley than Trinity? It was a game of defense defense defense. Both teams defended well for large periods. Trinity extensively so against a Waverley attack that never seemed to click.

Sorry if it wasn't clear enough for Waverley. The dim lit paddock didn’t suit Waverleys style of play is the reference point there. Sorry if it wasn’t clear enough for you.
Only one upset in those results.Did anyone predict Barker, Trinity and Cranbrook sharing the lead after Round 1?
Not the question I asked!Only one upset in those results.
