Huh? Link is not head coach at the reds as of Richard Graham taking over in a few weeks.
-----------------------
I hate autocorrect .
If link goes to the rebels, he will have a very short time to get results if he wants the wallaby job off White.
That will probably be just two years.
The best way for him to achieve that is with players he knows and can work with.
He has a very obvious strong rapport with most of the reds players.
He will need to take a number of the reds very high profile players with him.
If he only took 3 of the key players (given who we have already lost in the last two seasons), we would be a very different teams and probably about as good as we were before he came to QLD.
The waratahs would probably lose a couple of players to the rebels as well, but they will either be young guys not earmarked for the Tahs or older Tahs with maybe one or two seasons left.
He doesn't have the players in Victoria to use like he did with Queensland (hell, he didn't even have them in Queensland and recruited extensively out of ACT, NSW and NZ.
Jake white to the wallabies before he is finished his work with the Brumbies and Link to the Reds leaving another smoking husk qld franchise is not going to help australian rugby.
Rebels don't need link. The wallabies do.
