So Lance has gone to fullback and Gray has come onto the bench. That's 3 backrowers on the bench even though I'm sure Volavola is over there??

15 Jono Lance, 14 Cam Crawford, 13 Adam Ashley-Cooper, 12 Kurtley Beale, 11 Rob Horne, 10 Bernard Foley, 9 Nick Phipps, 8 Dave Dennis (c), 7 Michael Hooper, 6 Jacques Potgeiter, 5 Kane Douglas, 4 Will Skelton, 3 Sepoke Kepu, 2 Tatafu Polota-Nau, 1 Benn Robinson.
Replacements: 16 Silatolu Latu, 17 Jeremy Tilse, 18 Paddy Ryan, 19 Tala Gray, 20 Stephen Hoiles, 21 Patrick McCutcheon, 22 Brendan McKibbin, 23 Matt Carraro.

Hooper will play 80 and Dennis is the lock replacement so he's playing 80..

Player welfare..potential for lawsuits down the track. Sport is a lot more cautious about litigation after the recent cconcussion research showing a link to long term dementia etc. Got to lean on the side of caution and ARU are the administrators of the game and ultimately responsible.

Amazing how far we have come since George Smith got concussed against the Lions, eh? Was that only 9 months ago?

Its in the media a lot more, the public know about it, have to be seen to be taking the right actions.

Drew is right. If it had been Bledisloe 1 Folau would have played. Its not even questionable. This is a measure of just how much Izzy means to the Wallabies, that they would go against the agreed protocols and still put him out for Saturday even though he met the prescribed criteria.

The ARU are not put in a very good light. I'll bet pounds to peanuts that the ARU haven't had separate discussions with Bryce Hegarty's specialist over his concussion and subsequent selection this week. And as Pfitzy pointed out, the ARU didn't step in over George Smith in Lions 3. Are the ARU going to second guess the specialists for every Super player or just potential Wallabies? And how do you decide who is a potential Wallaby before the squad is selected? Or is it just Izzy?

The Super teams need the protocols clarified. If I was a Super team manager I would immediately stop all medical information transfers to the ARU until the protocols are clarified and renegotiated.

Tin foil hat time... The specialist from what I read didnt clear him. The Tahs got Specialist too talk to medical officer cleared him then the ARU spoke to the specialists and uncleared him. To think the CMO wouldn't have made the call for wallabies for tahs on the friggen moon, if Izzy was god himself. Is calling the man integrity in to question. He made a call with the information he had and wouldn't have mattered if it was a world cup final. His arse if Izzy gets hurt again not anyone elses..

Im disappointed his not playing in saying all that

Izzy's sounds ropeable.
Teeing up and not missing the ARU. Sounds like he has been kept well in the dark on this one. It's very odd, and it would serve the ARU well to publicly clarify what actually the process was.
Welfare concerns are fine, but make it clear to all parties, including the paying ones (fans). The lack of clarity is the problem.

He's not a dumb bloke. If the ARU think they have him on a leash they might get bitten.

Can't see us winning this even though I tipped it. Hayward and roselia is just to much for us to loose. Fingers crossed
