Well done to SJC for taking out the 1st VIII with a 5.52, that's quick in anyone's language!

Well done to the Riverview shed, mostly 1/2 podiums all day. Huge effort from the 1st and 2nd IVs, 3rd VIII, Year 10 3rd and 4th VIIIs, to win their races today. I feel for the Riverview 4th IV that raced a brilliant race against a Shore crew that was faster than both of Shore's 3rd and 2nd IVs, you made us OR's proud.

Great effort by Kings in the 2nd VIII to overcome a strong Riverview 2nd VIII. I know the TKS 1st VIII will be disappointed, but there are bigger and better things in life and they have rowed a stellar season, their Stroke is on another freaking level, great crew.

I was really impressed by the progress Shore's 1st VIII during the season, resulting in a 2nd today. Shows how you can't ever really count Shore out, a shed with unparalleled rowing history.

Questions, questions. Is there a senior regatta next Saturday or do Kings have a week where they don't need to worry about foxing? if Kings are to win the HOTR as many seem to predict, will they be the least raced crew in the history of the AAGPS? I know Kings have the fastest time of the year but they just knocked off Joeys that day who raced with unexpected last minute crew changes (when it would have been easier to hide / fox).
I guess I got all my answers in one race. Go Joeys - 5.52 red hot!

Congratulations Joeys, just got out in the first 500 and stayed there the whole race, finishing with an impressive 5.53.40.

But wow Shore school did well to finish in second. With a very average/poor season for the school historically it’s a great achievement for them to finish in that position in the big race. What a comeback at the end I must add.

Unbelievable! What a race from the lads at Hunters Hill and Shore! Baker pulls his HOTR tricks again. St Joseph’s are rightful winners this years. Well done to the crew of Jack Holt, Will Bailey, Connor Glancy and Thomas Kierse from the Shore School to bring the Fourth Four trophy back to North Sydney! Also, what a race from the King’s Second Eight, I did not see that coming! What a day at SIRC!

Joeys far too good in the First VIII race. Fantastic tussle for the minors, I called it King's, View, Shore as they went past me, how wrong can one be. Official results had it 0.99 seconds between second and fourth, very close.
