Pats over Gregs 34-26. A very close game at Breen with Gregs having an opportunity to win it with a penalty. Missed penalty and Pats scored at the other end.

Amaziing results all round! Great work ISA

Gosh - I didnt think it would be that close
Twas a very good game of football. Pius the better team in first half and Stannies the better in the second. A penalty with about 5 to go gave Stannies a 15-12 lead. However, after a knock on from the kick off Pius got a penalty from offside play from the scrum. Kicked to the corner and after a lineout penalty were able to force their way over through their forwards to take the score 19-15. Fulltime blown just after the kick off. Game could have gone either way and both teams should be congratulated on the way they played. Here's hoping that the injured boys are ok.

Ok I dont seem to have a result from Stannies v Pius in the 14s but apart from that, her is the program update after Round 5. As always - a reminder that this is data from the ISA website and may not be the mthod of calculating who goes into each division.

The margins moved ever closer again. Auggies won the day by one game up at Castle Hill, Pats had a clean sweep at Strathfield and Pius won 3 games at Oxford Falls (Pius dont field a 15A team and there isnt a result for the 14s so it could be a 3 all draw against Stannies).

Pats probably the biggest beneficiary this week, consolidating their 3rd spot on the program ladder. It will be a whisker between Auggies and Oakhill at the top and Stannies and Pius will duke it out to be top of the best of the rest.

Once they calculate who's in the top 3 and next 4, they will then play cross over games against CAS top three and next three teams. As far as ISA is concerned, it will be a first past the post scenario the same as it's been in years past.
Hi Da-S ..... this year there will be semis & finals in ISA. Stannies is hosting all the semis and I think St Gregs will host the finals. A bit like ISA Div 2 used to run it when Oakhill was the host. There is also those games vs CAS as you pointed out.

My apologies. I stand corrected and thanks for the info.

Honesty for forums here, i was in attendance to the Pius v Stannies game, it seemed the younger years of Stannies had it over Pius, but when it came to the 2nds Pius just had the better day. In the 1sts pius got points on the board early with their captain the number 7 went over on the blindside to score an easy try, following with a yellow card to the 14 from stannies, which left stannies outnumbered for quite some time, at the end of the first half it was 12-5, coming into the second half stannies came out firing but the ref blew some tough offside calls giving stannies number 8 a yellow card as well. once the 8 returned he was able to score a try from a line out taking it to 12-12 then with 7 minutes to go they took a penantly goal taking it to 15-12. pius kicked off and stannies later came up with a error giving pius the ball, then stannies was called offside multilple times piggy backing pius up to the stannies try line which ended with pius scoring to take it to 19-15. both teams played really well and had some strong defence on both sides.
