NSW AAGPS 2024

9 will be a close call with Binnie, Grieg and Beggs in the mix, Lotz is a smokie. My tip is Bass as 10, Wendt and McKellar on the wings, Conick and someone else (?) at 13. Kingdom at 15. Front row unclear, although Warner as hooker locked. New arrival at School is possible prop option, but Gus Gordon not option at this stage as wanting social team option. Backrow locked. MLM should be 7 and will be a choice whether Reardon or Hamilton play 6 or 8. My prediction:
1. Jamo Lyne (3s)
2. James Warner VC (1s)
3. New student
4. Charlie Galligan (16A)
5. Ed Baxter (1s)
6. Angus Reardon (2s)
7. Marshall Lemaitre C (1s)
8. Ethan Hamilton (2s)
9. Angus Beggs (3s)
10. New student
11. Ollie Mackellar (1s)
12. Henry Conick (1s)
13. New student
14. Nick Wendt
15. Lewis Kingdom (2s)
Why not have Mackellar at Centre? He's a GPS smokey

15. Rex Bassthingwhaite (New student)
Thoughts on Harry Longes on the wing. He shows a lot of potential, wouldn't be surprise if he makes the side over some of these boys. Apparently he has gained quite a lot of size and muscle over the off season, becoming a dangerous runner.

Darcy Brown is a very underrated player. Got a taste of 1st xv footy against kings in round 10 for Joeys.

I think he'll be the best 9s in the GPS

Thoughts??

Carter is probably one of the most talented 9s to go through Riverview, a bit smaller than Albert and Curll but he makes up for it with skill, he's still got shoes to fill.

MM
In my opinion it is outrageous to compare Curll and Albert to Carter so far. Yes, he has some talent but we haven't seen him on a 1st footy field. Who knows he may crumble under SHORE's pressure.

7 or 12 at a stretch.

No chance he’s an 8 unless he gets a lot bigger (taller) Ardie Savea is about as small as a professional 8 can be (world player of the year tbf)

How tall is MLM? I see him to be a more likely 2 (the fourth back rower) or possibly a 12.
More 7s should become Hookers.

Has he played in the Centres ever? League is always a risk as backrowers are a dime a dozen like that tbh and Cam Murray is a true outlier who played 12 at school which gives him a point of difference at lock. Most of the others are big units who ball play.

A similar comparison for me size wise is Charlie Rorke who got wowed by the Raiders but didn’t get past Mounties in NSW Cup.
