Argentina take the restart, finish the game with a try, final score 29-19.

Australia their own worst enemy in the end with a very poor first half.

Pretty disappointing.

All we needed to do was hold the ball and pass it to the big guy and instead we spent the whole first half dicking about.

Size differential between Kerevi and the Argentinians was pretty funny though. Like an u12s match with the one early pubescent kid.

poor execution, simple mistakes, poor commitment in defence.. basically killed off any chance of a medal hope unless they beat New Zealand now

^ yeah, Canada a touch unlucky to lose by 14, could just as easily have drawn or even won had the ref binned either if the Fijians who took men out at restarts.

Arg making a real game of this, 14-all now & I'm getting Rio flashbacks.........

Edit: late fade from Arg, NZ win 35-14.

Well that was awful.

Turner and Kerevi were our only players who were remotely decent.

Jeez it would be tough to stomach as a team member. How long have they spent holed up in Narrabeen, running around cones, training, training, training for that game. And to turn up and have that be the result.
