What ahaha!? This list is chopped. Straight up drivel from your end mate... Nudgee are the clear winners this year and there's no debate. I'm pre calling the undefeated season and dusting off the shelf for trophy #46 as we speak. Try again champ.

That is the Ladder as it stands today friend after week two as it appears on Rugby xplorer app. Nudgee sit in 4th behind IGS, TGS and Churchie . My comment are observations of each team in current ladder order not a prediction. Maybe the dust from the feather duster is affecting you.

Mate, there is lots of home grown talent on show, more than half of the firsts have been is the school since year 7, some since the junior school, the imports have just help create depth that we never had and battles for position that make everyone play better. Nothing like the feeling around a school on Monday after the firsts have had a good win. Skipper is young bloke from Gundy in year 11 that has been there since year 7. He bleeds blue and gold!
Hey Ringer,

It brings me great pride in the blue and gold to hear this. Incredibly proud of this young lad can can't wait to see the tikka he brings to the field and watch him unleash his inner mungrel. Hear some of the Nudgee teams have been working on bringing out their 'phsyco' as well, whatever that means.

Who will be replacing Cook, if he is actully out. Also what heppend, is it his shoulders again or has something else happened.

Cheers, D.B
He hurt his shoulder trying to do a charge down, we don’t know if it’s surgery time yet, hopefully he’s all right. If he’s out craig thaggard will come into the side and play 6 and Ethan Ramsay will play Openside.

Mate… read the room and the draw please. Nudgee had a bye on Saturday, we didn't suddenly forget how to play footy. IGS have padded their stats against the cellar dwellers and churchie are clinging to their spot like it's a loose tooth. To be fair though TGS are solid but still second best material behind Nudgee.

Let's not get dizzy staring at the ladder after two rounds. Round 8 is the real decider. Until then maybe give that feather duster a rest.

(sigh of relief) Its good to be back. hehe. Been a roller coaster of emotions. Anyway, opinions on the so called "shocking" last couple games from young Geroge Hales? hehe.

Ethan Ramsay and Keegan Cook, likely out for TGS this weekend against BGS. Thaggard and Hiscock likely to be selected, battered and bruised TGS side from Southport. Hopefully they hang on against BGS. Let’s Bang

I agree. I think TGS are the underdogs but everyone loves the underdog. Nudgee are a great team brimming with confidence and skill. Lets hope they both get to play each other undefeated and both fully fit and healthy. In the meantime they both have to tick off wins against the rest of the competition which wont be easy. I , unlike you, wont be calling the premiership winner week 2 and dusting any cabinets . Thats a recipe for a big fall. I wish all schools the best.

Talking about TGS injuries - does anyone know if Sam Elms is injured? I'm sure he started in quite a few games for TGS last year and went reasonably well but I've just noticed he wasn't in the side for the first couple of games this season?

Yes Sam Elms is injured and out for the season. Injured in last trial games.

It truthfully is wonderful to be back. As an old GPS footy head I was devastated after the closure of the old forum. I've lived half way up the sunshine coast since I retired and am not so good with the new technology so the forum was my one way of staying connected to the joys of schoolboy rugby. The joy I had when my dear grandson informed me there was a new forum was insurmountable. However, I am currently a bit out of the loop, can someone please let me know after the start of the new season who the favourites are.

Kindly,
GN
