Interesting their is no players from CQ or NQ in this squad. Surely in something as limited as a Catholic Colleges team their could have been someone worthy of selection in this team from thsoe regions! given their was a number of players selected in it last year. Anyone know how they went?

This isn't the Combines Secondary Schools team. This is the Combined Catholic Colleges which played in a curtain raiser at the reds a number of weeks ago. The CSS teams are picked from the state championships which finished on Sunday, and that's the one that plays in the qld schoolboys trials

corcoran won't be participating this year, as he has prioritised his rugby league commitments and opted for should surgery before he continues with league at the end of this year. Apart from that, I partly disagree with quite a few of your selections, mainly because they are selections based on reputation rather than form.

Tylor Bunting from the CSS teams will go close to getting a 6 or 7 jumper, especially with wilkin now out

Been trying to figure out how to make tables so I could post something similar on here for quite some time now..oh well I'll leave that to the more tech savy minds amongst us.

Nice write up, hoping to make the Thursday trials. Lets see if the following guys from QLD last year can reclaim their jerseys (team last year) :
Sam Greene - GPS 1 (QLD 1 Bench), Dan Preen - GPS 3 (QLD 2), Jack Cornelson - GPS 2 (QLD 2 Bench)
