Queensland Reds 2025

probably isn't much room for a larger deal and he can likely get a good bump going overseas,
It'll be interesting as we're going to have some cash with Mason going and at this point, you can't be offering big bucks to Henry. There should surely be some cash to throw his way?

He's been one of the guys who have actually stood up over the last couple months. I was really skeptical in the beginning but he's been making his involvements count.

Mason won't have been on much more than a base deal, there's no way to really redirect that. There might be more money from Henry but we need to make sure we're covered at 12 and 15 before we can spend that on a bigger contract for a winger.

The Reds probably have had to stump up extra for Daugunu and LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) too (maybe Canham, although his deal was a bit different) as RA were covering some of the Red's costs this year

It may not be too bad in the end for those guys - I don't believe Daugunu and Salakaia-Loto were on wallabies top ups under their Rebels deals, so while the RA portion for Rebels contracts ended, it sounds like they've both earned Wallabies top ups again which will cover at least some of that increase.
