Also, I don't usually bet on Reds games, but there are some particularly juicy odds on offer if you think there's any chance of an upset:

As mentioned the lions have picked more of a "test" squad of percentage players. Given pretty much all of their points came from long range on Saturday, with a more dynamic squad, I genuinely back the Red's in to win* . Great defense through the middle of the park, bomb squad bench, international experience and quality set piece.

*Only caveat for me will be Kalani and HMP's performance. This will decide for me whether they are truly the reds future halves.

We only just lost to wales off the back of a louis werchon train wreck so dare I say halves will be the difference again.

Pretty interesting to compare this side to the one that played Wales last year:

For mine this side is much stronger as a unit and almost stronger man for man, with better players, players with more experience together and players in their preferred positions. O'Connor is probably the only one I'd be adding in for certain in the starting 15 (though I'd take 2025 Grealy over 2025 Ryan).

Couldn’t resist the 29.5 start at $1.89. The kids college fund has gone on it. Lions were able to score numerous length of the field tries on the counter off Force errors. I’m backing Reds will be a bit tighter with more capable outside backs defensively.

Seems a decent Lions side, heavy on Irish with a mix of Russell etc which is what I thought would be close to test team before the tour started. Getting to be a tastier match all the time.

Even I'll have a punt with those odds. Would be miracle but the lions team won't be as good as Saturday. They can't pick those players again.

Do I think QLD win, not likely, but 30.5 start is pretty generous on the line. I can see an early QLD penalty, kick to the corner & lineout drive to open the scoring. Matt Faessler at $26 first try scorer.

Have been put through the 7 layers of Hell the last few days from my whinging pommy mates - "how can the Reds charge so much for tickets when they aren't even playing their Wallabies?".

The frustrating UK media narratives seem to have gotten through to them.

The funny thing is, when I mentioned the Wallabies v Fiji test on Sunday, most of them had no idea it was happening. Head up their arses only worried about the Lions, typical!
