He missed 9 last year. Please provide a list of players who missed more in a single game please.

Maybe I over-emphasised a little but you get the drift of my argument. I would guess Pocock and Hodgson would be the only two players to miss less in a season and Pocock missed half the season. Maybe Ant would be close.

I do like WJ's response though. Spot on for mine. Did you deliberately set him up for that and if so, why?

Fairbrother, Pocock, Hand, Dennis, Humphries, Sharpe, Simmons, Elsom, Mowen, Daley, Turner, To'omua, Cross, Holmes, McCabe, Hynes and O'Young all missed less tackles... check Reg's link

i dont think you can discuss stats that seeing every different site has a different version of events. carter has fantastic defence but he isnt the greatest by a long way, there are others just as good. that said he is better than average by a fair way.

My comment was more based on Rebel's fans thinking Vuna is the second coming. Carter is very good in defence and if Vuna gets passed him he may just be a Wallaby bolter. Now that Carter has developed a step and a passing game it may be a good test for Vuna in defence too.

Seeing as I'm posting on G&GR , I think stats compiled by the G&GR team are only fair to discuss. Doubt there's any bias in there.

I hope that the Rebels can be competitive but I can't see them getting close to the Tah's. Beale and Mitchell to find lots of space towards the end of the game.

As I said, a bit of hyperbole. Interesting that only To'omua and Cross missed less in the 10/12 channel and from memory they didn't play the whole season there, though Carter missed a few games early on too.

Vuna is Super. That is all.

Would like to see Drew Mitchell vs Lachie Mitchell, and thus the Mitchell Wing....

Lachie Mitchell is dynamite. Solid with a bit of spice in him.

Hilgendorf/Cipriani as 10s... Hilgendorf 1st 60min, Cirpiani to switch to #10 for #15 then, and Huxley to get a 20min run @ Fullback.

Reserved seats are sold out.

Rebel Army has a dedicated bay, and will be marching from Fed Square prior to the match. Limited seats in the bay, feel free to contact me regarding this, inclusive group - all welcome. travish@rebel-army.com

Biggest X factor is MacQueen, which few have given credit, he will do something to blow our minds.

Prediction - Closer than most think. Tahs by less than 5. hoping for a Laurie Weeks try after the siren to win for the Rebels though.

I think the Tahs will struggle early as the Rebels Matched the saders for 60 mins. However the Tahs should find space out wide as the game goes on.

After the saders trial, I think MacQueen was left with too many holes to fill, particularly in the back 3. I expect Cips at FB, Betham one wing and Hilgendorf flyhalf.

Go Rebels

#1 Tah

Ok, 3 DAYS TO GO, TIME TO PUMP UP. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY THAT THE REBELS WILL EVEN COME CLOSE TO THE TAHS IN THE FRONT ROW. THEY HAVE A CANNIBAL PLAYING LOCK, AND WASHED UP STARS AS BACK ROWERS AND HALVES. THEIR BACKS ARE INEXPERIENCED AND GREEN APART FROM HUXLEY, CIPRIANI AND CORDINGLEY. THE WARATAHS COULD POTENTIALLY PUT OUT A TEAM THAT ARE ALL WALLABIES, BUT WILL NOT BECAUSE THERE ARE BETTER CANIDATES, LIKE TOM CARTER. MORTLOCK WILL GET INJURED IN THE FIRST 5 MINUTES AND BEALE, MITCHELL AND TURNER WILL RUN HAVOC OUT WIDE. PALU AND TPN WILL SMASH BLOKES FROM PILLAR TO POST. PHIL WAUGH WILL HAVE AN AVERAGE GAME (IE. BRILLIANT) AND BEN MOWEN, DAVE DENNIS, KANE DOUGLAS AND SITALEKI TIMANI HAVE EVERYTHING TO PROVE. BURGESS AND BARNES WILL CONTROL THE GAME.

THIS IS OUR STATE.
THIS IS OUR TEAM.
THIS IS OUR YEAR.

WARATAHS 2011. <3

What are our predictions for first try scorer? I'm saying Drew Mitchell, 7th minute.
