That's a bloody good forward pack, experienced and strong.

Backline could do with some upgrades and the form of QC (Quade Cooper) will be integral.

Is Chris Kuridrani signed for 2017, O'Connor seems to have little love for him and he hasn't been sighted in Reds colours in 2016 with Laloifi preferred over him.

I also think Talakai will be the starting THP in 2017 with Tupou as the reserve THP. Fa'agase will be the reserve LHP. Paraka is still a work in progress.

Its a shame the Reds can't bring Nemani Nadalo back home to Brisbane as well, could use an extra strike weapon out wide.

So what's the sudden attraction of the Reds? Have players been tipped off about the new coach? Or have the Reds been taking some salary cap management lessons from the Broncos?

Lots of old people like the warmer weather in Queensland for their retirement.

It is great for arthritis and breathing issues.

Im thankful that old man Smith has chosen to finish up at the Reds and retire to the QLD weather.
He is in the Best form he has ever been in and has added more to his game since he has been away.
Reds will take that for the next 2 years.

After playing through the last 3-4 European winters, George probably didn't want to experience a further 2 Canberra winters and figured Qld was the warmest place.

Agree 100% about Talakai and Tupou. Kuridrani is signed for 2017 but I reckon you are right that Jnr should be ahead of him.

More outside back depth would be handy.

Previous coach and CEO have gone.

You never thought you'd see George in different colours? The guy that's played for the Brumbies, Toulon, Stade Francais, Lyon, Wasps and Suntory?

Well, George has stated in the past that he wouldn't play for any other Australian team..........

But as mentioned above he's apparently bought property in Queensland so it looks like he plans on settling down up there, plus there's some talk of a possible future coaching role.

Surprised to see the Reds bolting together a pretty solid side with no coach in place
