It's not. I like Weber, but he shouldn't be rewarded for that.9 chiefs is crawling on the ground and not on his feet and doesn’t use arms. How is that a legal tackle?
Players like Holloway make a difference. Hooper has up'd his involvements. He's not at his jackling best, but he's a constant pest at the breakdown which is nice to see.Defence certainly has improved from last week. Chiefs set piece isn’t as strong as it has been over the last few weeks.
They need to do more than out the back plays and inaccurate kicks if they are going to win this. If the Chiefs get some luck they'll capitalise and psychologically it'll be hard for the Tah's to come back into this game after all that defense.Tahs doing well on D but will need to start playing a bit if they want to win.
Yes. There are miss tackles and there are missed tackles (ie. Those which slow the attacking player and allow a second player to complete a successful tackle. Teams with good analytics have more nuanced insights than the average armchair viewer - some of Hoopers have this outcome)I've noticed in this game that the reason Hooper is showing up high in the season missed tackle stats is that he attempts many tackles that he's a low chance of completing.
That has always been a thing for him. He also shoots up hard and tries to herd them back to the inside.I've noticed in this game that the reason Hooper is showing up high in the season missed tackle stats is that he attempts many tackles that he's a low chance of completing.
