Rugby Championship 2025: Wallabies v Argentina

WFDS

The commentary team were really looking out for him yesterday — his missed tackle somehow got pinned on the ACT back rower by the Queenslander commentator.
Australian rugby commentators have been a self serving & myopic for a long time now. I don't know of another country who's pundits have a more prejudice view of players from their own country.

It's embarrassing frankly.

Blowing up about commentators - the mouthpieces and ultimately ambassadors of the game - not being as incredulously negative towards players - people, who they often know personally - as a bunch of anonymous corner-dwellers on the internet is, frankly, the embarrassing part.

Even Joe Schmidt said that in the presser mate. He was poor for the most part but it’s relative to be what’s available. I’d start JOC (James O'Connor) this week for the record.
