Only just managed to watch the game then after coming back from camping. I feel like I've left an abusive relationship and still learning to trust and love again. Felt for sure that the Argies were going to pile it on when they were 14 up. Wallabies don't come back and win. We certainly don't win games that come down to the wire. Kept flinching with each Argies try.

I will learn to love again!

Someone gets it. A playmaker is supposed to organise the attack. Not be some hit man tackle god. Sure he is expected to do some tackling but it's not why he's there. A lot of people on here think that because Lynagh and ....gone to NRL Carter Gordon ... are better tacklers that they are automatically our best 10's. Give me a break. Young Tom needs to be rested for some time and ponder his future. The amount of head knocks he's had is getting pretty serious.
Glad there is two of you on here who know what you are talking about to guide the rest of us. I must confess I can’t recall that being anyone’s argument - but no doubt I am blinded by my Red tinted glasses. Did they use the term ‘Hit man tackle God’ out of interest? I must say I like that one. I’m using that as my minimum base line for all 10s now when I pick teams.

I see Lynagh has received quite a bit of the negative coverage you’ve been calling out for. You should be well pleased today.

They did call him the “Hit Man Tackle God”… they just forgot to mention he tackles mostly with his forehead.

At least someone has said something- we shouldn’t give jerseys out because your dad was a good player. And honestly, my great-grandfather could out-sprint him—and he’s been retired from walking for years.

Yeah - of course. That’s why Thorn, Kiss & Schmidt picked him. Because his dad’s Michael Lynagh. Professional coaches are always looking to pick for sentimental reasons. We all know what an emotional marshmallow Brad Thorn was.
Mate, spot on. Forget stats, forget form, forget tackling technique or skill, forget a kicking game or any defensive capacity. Forget a willingness to train even- bloke is allergic to the training paddock!

This lad has none of that- but his dad was great.

Hang in there buddy. Maybe if you can be a Hitman tackle God you’ll get your chance.

Fuck me, another one enters the chat. Piss off with your bullshit nepotism chat. It brings nothing to the table.

Maybe others don't have their 'Red tinted Lynagh hype' goggles on? I don't call out for negative coverage on the young man. I just don't see him as being as good as others on here do.

How about the slow chat? Lad would struggle to run 50 in 30 seconds. Does anyone have a timing gate for some testing?
Have to agree here too. It’s a real blight that he has been thrown in there for this pressure too when he clearly isn’t up to the standard required. How many times did he touch the ball yesterday? The only thing he did was shovel it to the next guy while standing still a couple of times and miss kicks for touch.

Didn't think anyone could get hosed as badly as Noah but here we are. A couple of opportunistic bots but some genuine posters as well. With the way injuries are going everyones guy (Donaldson, Jack Bowen and his dad, etc) will get a go soon and people will line up to spray them too.

I hope he's ok and improves at 10 next week.
