If you were to say the squad has been strengthened by the inclusion of Douglas,Mumm & Gits,I would agree,but would add their inclusion was Cheika's doing,requiring him to manage up,and to not accept the status quo.
I think he also has some of the Reds players playing in much stronger form at the higher Test level,than they were performing at Super level earlier this year.

I think Michael Hooper is an exceptional player, and was one of our best again tonight, but Pocock is just on another level in test matches

I still haven't come down from that. Being in London watching it, I have to say that the tension was unbearable at times in the lead up and during parts of the game.

But, well WE FUCKING SMASHED them! I haven't see an Wallaby pack take another pack to the cleaners like that in many a long day. Fardy was injured. Moore was injured (Hooper was Captain). Sio was available but too fresh, We had Carter instead of Douglas. McCalman instead of Pocock. Front row replacements no where near as good.

The shape of the team is hugely different from last year.
