Both teams coming from losses. John Smit out for two weeks. The Sharks will be hurt after their Newlands loss and will go all guns blazing in this one.

The Brumbies sure have the game breakers in midfield to do what the Stormers and Saders midfield have exploide but need their forwards to provide the platform.

The Brumbies generally go ok in South Africa but always drop their first game...

However, the Sharks are probably the team they struggle to beat in SA...

Jono Owen could get a promotion to the starting XV depending on how Dan Palmer pulls up this week...

Otherwise the Brumbies don't really need any changes aside from shifting AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) to outside centre...

Isn't Bismark out too? Who plays hooker?

Haha the Giteau not wearing 10 didn't last long did it.

Don't know why he is so obsessed with that jersey, would like to see Nick white get a run off of the bench.

And Tyrone, never seen him play that well at super level. Some quins league guys I was chatting to said he was a liability in their team

No... no... nooooooooo!

Why does Rea keep chopping and changing like this?!

He should've kept the same lineup as last week with the exception of Owen coming in for Palmer, Vaea coming back, and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) shifting to outside centre...

I'm glad to see Salvi dumped, but all these changes weren't necessary...

... We lost to the Cheetahs letting in just under 50 points, you can't see a reason for some changes? This team looks a lot more solid across the park to me.

Changing the team every week isn't going to win games...

The Phibbs/Lealiifano/Giteau axis looked solid last week, but now they're reverting back to Giteau at flyhalf which has proven not to work...

Hooper has been their form 7 and gets subbed for Fainga'a?

AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)'s best position is clearly outside centre but we're shifting him out to make way for other players who are not necessarily going to improve the attack or defence...

They're panic changes, and the team is not going to build if Rea plays musical chairs every week...

And as I've mentioned elsewhere... the big problem is that they're a team without a coach...

The Brumbies have the players, but they're not being coached and they lack skills and execution... and too often have played panicky brain-fart rugby...

Despite being 20+ points down in the first half the Brumbies should've won that game...

Instead they came out and played total dumb rugby...

Sharks are going to have a bit much power this week for the Brumbies. They should be looking to take a bonus point away from this one.

Lealiifano is a 12, and a good 12. He plays 12 for runners, in club rugby, and was the probably the form 12 in the competition last year before injury. It's where he should be playing. Giteau looks like one of the few interested players out there for the whole 80minutes each game. He has played 10 at international level and despite all his critics, he has been in good form. It wasn't until he started stepping into 10 and playing for field position last week after that 20minute blowout that you mentioned against the Cheetahs where we started getting some go forward. It's a much better combination imo.

Hooper has been in good form undoubtedly, but it was Fainga'a who was also their form 7 before having to fill in at 6 and 8 in the backrow. With Chapman and Vaea now fit he should retain his spot. I'd be happy with Hooper or Fainga'a either way really.

Tyrone Smith had been playing well and deserves a crack. Defensively he should sure up some of the midfield cracks from last weekend, and if he is off his game we have Andrew Smith and Adam Ashley-Cooper on each wing who are more than capable to slide in.

I don't mind the team, and wish Jono Owen the best of luck. I'm glad to finally see him get a chance. Next Nic White please.

Giteau only looks good at 10 when he steps into the pivot role to clear the ball...

In attack he's offered nothing all year...

Last week the Brumbies' backline actually looked good in attack with Lilo and Giteau at 10 and 12 respectively...

The problem in the second half lay with their forwards and the lack of decent ball our backs were receiving...

Placing Giteau at 10 is without a doubt the worst thing the Brumbies could do... crab crab crab crab crab...

Lilo attacks the line, and has a good long passing game... and he benefits from having another playmaker at 12 (like he did with Fairbanks in 2009)...

These changes don't fix any of the problems from last week...

Rea is simply at a loss and hoping that changing players will fix the problems... but trying to fix things that aren't broken won't help...

It's a desperate move for a coach without a clue...

When the Brumbies lose this match then he'll play musical chair again...

Maybe he'll shift Giteau back to inside centre... bring in To'omua... drop Lilo... shift McCabe to outside centre... AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) to fullback... bring back Salvi... dump Kimlin... play Palmer at LH...

Who the fuck knows...

On Colby and Hooper: Hooper is the fetcher who can also link very well. Colby plays more like a small no.8.

Both are very good but the sooner one of them goes to the Rebels to replace Lipman, the better. Friend's recruitment of 3 number 7s was egregious and as yours truly said after the 3rd one, Salvi, was hired: a contract spot was wasted.

What happen to that nippy 12 the Brumbies got? Injured?

The Brumbies should attack the Sharks midfield. The Sharks will struggle till they get Marius Joubert.
