Fark you corona virus and the Wuhan Bat Eaters society.

It would be a great day in the sun watching Rugby and talking crap with old mates at Coogee Oval today.
You don't appreciate what you have until you can't have it.

Don't count your chickens until the fat lady sings. Randwick come storming back with Speedy Gonzalez in the naughty boys chair.

Dave Horwitz is confirming that the Waratahs were right to get rid of him a couple of years back. Much better 10's coming through the system.

Cracking game 43- 41 woods. This wicks team can score tries and the woods are a big bunch of hard running humans. Either of these 2 teams could win the comp this year.

Some very interesting scores this afternoon. The Shield is wide open.

If Tahs lose tonight, will their players be released for club duties next week?

Would certainly make an already interesting comp even more so. And Randwick would get an upgrade on Horwitz in particular when it comes to the kicking department.

Not strictly Shute related. But part of me thinks that the 13 week Shute season structure in use this season would make the perfect structure for the proposed National Club Competition. Top 4 frrom Sydney and Brisbane. A rep squad from both competitions for those not part of those clubs plus a rep squad from Canberra, Melbourne and Perth would be a fairly solid competition of a pretty high quality.

Some potential big ins:

Uni: Gordon, Bell, HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes), Talakai, Swinton, Robertson, Horton
Wicks: Harrison, Hanigan, Short, Ramm, Donaldson
Gordon: Walton, Hunt, Dempsey, Abel
Easts: Staniforth, Harris, Maddocks
Norths: Sinclair, Clark, Tafa
Souths: Holloway, Faulkner

Eastwood don't gain anyone.. ouch.

You'd say Uni bringing in that front row alone would make them favs.
