Segner and Ioane have had good opening quarters. Honestly, would much rather have had Sotutu pesting around the midfield and Rieko on the wing ahead of having Funaki on the field at all.

EDIT: Ball control across the team have been diabolical, though.

Oh dear. Loss Bleus 6/2 bench appears to have imploded & triggered a nuclear chain reaction that may well lay waste to vast swathes of the Auckland isthmus. Shame, that.

Bummer to miss the penalty goal at the end, but was the right call imo.

idk how Funaki has a contract, let alone gets selected so often as Nock is clearly the superior halfback. Should've fken played Sotutu in the midfield with Rieko to the wing.

Yeehaa Canes baby!!!!
Shit I enjoyed that. One or 2 of the Canes are playing some serious good rugby. Reuben Love my MOTM!! But a few stood up , Forward pack was good, Roigard, Moorby were noticeable then throw in Higgins and Proctor pretty good in midfiel, Naholo bouncing a few off!

Gee I woke up this morning, and still happy with the result, by geez I hope a lot of these Canes boys stick around for a few years. Have to add the best 13 last night was Billy Proctor, he has played well last couple of seasons. And there is so much to like about Canes' pack, tighties doing their job real well , and a bloody great set of loosies!!

Saturday 16/03 Chiefs v Drua 19:30 & I think there will be a considerably bigger crowd than what we saw Friday night just gone.
