Either the Annual Report didn't mention the shareholders or I missed it, but likely that the NSW Rugby Union would be the ultimate owner.

I'm guessing the board of the NSW Rugby Union would be elected by the clubs?

Probably. I couldn't find the answer on the NSWRU website.

Now I think of it. The broncos, roar, and reds all play at that stadium so I imagine there's quite a few stadium memberships which aren't counted in that total.

Rebels have 5000 members for next year already. Which is pretty sweet, new club, not very popular sport, they'd have to be happy.

Big win considering the final number was ~7000 odd last year. To have 5000 already is huge.

There are 5000 stadium members at suncorp and it sells out every year, so add 5000 to any team playing at Suncorps membership numbers

To be honest, I'd been out of the country for the last 6 years - but was so disillusioned with the Reds (mostly poor management) I'd stopped supporting them. Season tickets last year were awesome though

The reds have sold 17,000 of there own memberships. Stadium memberships have nothing to do with this figure.

thats correct, im not sure if that figure of 5'000 stadium membership is correct, but i know a few people who utilise them, most games i go to are using a stadium membership from my friends work, hence why i only ever get a forever red membership.

You could argue there is a percentage of people in that who would have otherwise purchased Reds memberships, but thats semantics and i believe a significant number(like my friends) are owned by orgnisations who distribute them out depending on what a persons sport preference is(ie Roar, Reds, Maroons, Broncos).

I'm just impressed there's likely to be 22k people at least at every game.
